Description of Work: MBT Electricians have worked for me several times over the years. This time they installed motion detector lights on my garage. They were here on time and installed the lights that I had purchased in a timely manner--The electrician was cordial, professional and efficient.

+ -1 moreWater heater blew late on a Friday afternoon. I contracted through Sears to have a new one put in. The original installers wanted to charge an additional $375.00 to put in shut off switch which is now required to bring it up to MA state code. Considering all the wiring was there and it just needed a new box and I thought that was excessive. I called around to find someone else and MBT responded quickly and they did it in an hour for $112.00 for labor and materials. $60.00 an hour rate was very reasonable-everyone else was charging $85.00 and hour.
Description of Work: MBT Electricians did a great job putting in an water heater shutoff switch. They were on time, got it done quickly and cleanly and were very reasonable compared to other quotes. I highly recommend them!

+ -1 moreI had actually hired another company before I hired MBT, but they were so slow to get the work done that I called MBT. They sent a man to my house within 1/2 hour to look at the job and give me an estimate. When they told me about the trench that had to be dug, they gave me the option of digging it myself to save some money. I opted to dig myself and when that was done they were at my house within 2 days. They were very professional and cleaned up after their work thoroughly. I didn't put a price in the cost area because they haven't sent their bill yet, but I'm sure that will be fair also.
Description of Work: The men put a new ceiling light and switch in my dining area. They also put electricity into my barn. They dug a trench from the house to the barn because they said the work wouldn't look professional if they put it overhead. It really is nice. You don't even know it's there until you put on the light.
