Problem with request to fix ice maker. Jayme could not find waterline, told me water line non existent. Told me to call plumber to have waterline installed. I called a plumber and the plumber came in and said the waterline is right here. The plumber turned the waterline on and the ice maker started working.

We spent an hour with the customer. We taught her how to turn on the icemaker, checked power to the icemaker water valve and searching for the main water feed valve to the icemaker. After instructing the customer on how to operate the icemaker and determining that there was power to the unit, it was determined that there was no water supply to the icemaker. Although we were able to identify that there was a water line connected, we could not locate the valve to turn the water on. The line entered the wall behind the refrigerator and we could not locate the final connection point to the water supply. The customer did not know where the water line was connected nor where the shutoff valve was located. We recommended that the customer contact a plumber rather than paying us for additional time to identify whether the line was actually connected to the water supply. We were able to identify that that the icemaker was in working order, but without water or being turned on could make no ice. At her request, we also did a visual inspection of her air conditioning unit in the attic because she said it was leaking. We found no evidence of a leak. We taught her how to work the thermostat.

My hot water heater stopped working. My regular contractor had gone out of business, but referred his customers to JC Appliance. I took a chance with a company I didn't know and was very pleased. There was good communication via phone before the appointment, he was prompt, and kept me updated on the work he was doing.
Description of Work: Replaced an element on a Hot Water Heater.
