All went well the late summer when we hired them to place a cap on our chimney. However, when the cap literally blew off in December they were very slow to respond. Luckily no one was injured and our roof wasn't damaged! We had to make several calls and were promised several dates during which the cap would be replaced. We made it clear that we wanted the owner to put the new cap on rather than one of his workers. He finally sent over two men to replace the cap (after we left a message saying we wanted our money back). He still NEVER called us back, came to the door to talk to us, or acknowledge the problem . Due to the lack of professionalism we now need to hire another professional to ensure the new cap was installed properly. It is a major safety risk.

A very frustrating experience. The chimney cap blew off just a few months after the installation, and I chased them for a few months to replace it. They kept promising to come by and then never would. The owner apparently learned our phone number and stopped answering. When we tried calling from a number not known to him, he would pick up. And promise a new date to come by, then not show up. Strung us along for months. I did call another company to come out and reattach the cap. They told us the lining that was installed was too short, and since it can't be lengthened, would need to be pulled out and a new one put back in. And then the correct chimney cap, not the one that Aiello's installed, could be put back on, properly. In other words, the repointing seemed to be done well, but nothing else. They suggested we continue to try to pursue Aiello's for a resolution, as they didn't want to see us even more out of pocket. Have since spent yet more months with promises to come out and have a look at it, and then silence. To top it off, Aiello's didn't give us a receipt and lost ours, even though I'd asked for it right after the work was done. I've given Bryan Aiello more than enough time to make this right. He clearly has no interest in doing so.

Aiello Chimney was very prompt in responding to my initial request to install a chimney cap. They had the right size in stock and installed on the promised day. The chimney cap blew off a couple of weeks later. I have called them half a dozen times over a 4 week period; each time that they actually answered the phone, they have promised to come fix it. Nobody has shown up yet. Based on this experience, although my initial experience was positive, I would not recommend them or work with the business again.

We would never hire them again. We told them the objective was to give us a working chimney which seemed pretty obvious to us but certainly not to them. They showed up late for the first appointment, we had to call them and they were about an hour and a half late. They never repaired the flue and they said if we went online maybe we could find some parts to repair it ourselves. They also never repaired the screen in front of the chimney. When they came for the initial consultation they did not take any notes and I had to ask them questions but again obviously if they're supposed to be the experts why are they not asking me the right questions. After they finished I told him about my disappointment and they said they would come back and correct some things for more money which I agreed to. They also used my garden hose which I had previously drained for the winter. They left the garden hose full of water and laying in the mud and the snow. They never showed up for their appointment the second time, I called them and there has been no response. This is not only the worst chimney company but they're also the worst company in terms of professionalism. The only upside here is I will definitely get three quotes in the future. I had misgivings the very first time I talked to them and should've went with my gut instinct.

The home inspector raised some questions about the chimeny, and advised that I consult an expert. I explained what I needed, and Aiello's confirmed they did chimney inspections (non-video). The technician arrived on time for the appointment, and inspected the chimmey from the roof, the basement and inside the home. He answered my questions, and addressed the comments that the home inspector made. He provided a written estimate of the repair costs, and advised which were items that should be fixed, versus would be upgrades. Aiello's policy is to deduct the cost of the inspection if you hire them for the service, which I will likely do.

Very responsive company. Immediately called me back, came out to give free estimate, updated me as to when the job would start depending upon the weather conditions, competitive pricing, men came to my house on-time, spent 10 hours working until job was finished. Owner came back to house to inspect the work and make sure I was completely satisfied.
