From the initial contact and quote, to installation through frozen ground on a cold day, to the training, and ultimate successful containment of an incorrigible golden retriever puppy running out to greet and maul everyone walking by. If youâ re looking for a pet fence and company to deal with from day 1 and beyond, you will find none better and will be very satisfied with Brian and Julia.

Brian arrived on time, stayed true to the estimate and even trained the dogs before he left! So far no incidents where either one of my pups has gotten out, and one of them is 100lbs! He was very patient with them and worked really fast, I will definitely use him again whenever I expand the yard!

Unlike all the companies that advertise online and call you right away, these people actually came, charged a fair price, did quality work. We ended up paying to lay down all new wiring as our 10 year old fence had rotten and after fixing multiple breaks, that's what they recommended. Folded the initial repair work into the total cost. Was hardly more than those other companies wanted just to show up. Good service from local people.

Hiring Ideal Dog Fences was an extremely pleasant experience from start to finish. They were professional, courteous, and adaptive from start to finish. I have a large yard, some of which is still rather untamed, but that had no impact on their willingness to give me the fence I wanted. Everything was explained to me thoroughly and concisely at every step of the way. After the installation was complete, Brian took the time to explain the best possible way to train my dog, and was willing to stay as long as necessary until I was comfortable doing it on my own. A few days later, he called to ask how things were going and if I wanted him to come back to help out with the training. Ideal Dog is a top notch operation, and I recommend them to anyone looking to install an electric fence.

I priced out other dog fence companies and this one was had the best pricing. Brian also called me immediately and my work was scheduled and done quickly and on time. I had an issue with my dog collar which turned out to be an issue with the batteries but Brian drove to my house to test and reviewed everything with me again. Very happy I did this. My dog is not running out of the yard into the busy street anymore. I have such a large yard so a fence was not an option, I'm happy I found Ideal Dog.

Brian was a professional who provided an estimate over the phone, worked with an outside firm to understand the need of the electronic boundary wire for my robotic lawnmower and completed the work as scheduled and did not quibble for the additional time it took him to complete the job. He returned back on a holiday weekend to fix damage done by the irrigation folks to the electronic fence

Brian was fantastic! We have had the fence for two weeks and Brady loves it! The price was great and included everything we needed. Ideal Dog Fences was hired for an electronic fence installation. Brian Pitre was my contact. He did exactly what he said he would do, in the time frame promised and within the estimate given. My Rottweiler was trained in a short time, and does NOT cross the boundary lines that were set up. This is what was promised. This fence, the install, everything about this project was great.
