Tom Brady Carpentry did an amazing job converting a bar in my kitchen to have built-in shelving. See the before and after photos. They came in the same week I requested the job and provided an extremely fast and accurate quote. They did the job quickly and it turned out beautifully. This was my third job with Tom Brady and I have been impressed every time. He is kind, honest, and his team does great work. They are professional, careful, and do a great clean up after the job. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had a very positive experience working with Tom Brady Carpentry. I have used them twice, once for some framing work to repair beetle damage and once for a larger job to level my floors in three rooms and install wood floors. Both times, the crews were on time, extremely professional, and did excellent work. Tom is particular about explaining his quote and anything that comes up extra before he changes any aspect of the quote. We found several major surprises under the floor that had to be repaired, and he explained all of the pros and cons of what had to be done. In the end, I still paid very close to the quoted price. He also stands by his work and has said he will come back to resolve any issues I might have. I was very happy with them and would go to them again.

From the minute Tom came to our home to discuss the project it was positive. I was very worried about the project taking 6 months as I had heard many horror stories about kitchen renovations. My house is old and the kitchen hadn't been touched in 50 years. Tom explained to me why those projects took so long and ours would not fall into that category. He was right on the money. Started and finished EXACTLY as promised. There were things that needed to be done that I had never thought of. Tom explained how it would look and why things had to be done a certain way. Again, right on the money. Everything done perfectly. There were modifications that had to be done with cabinets as we had a soil pipe going through the kitchen. Tom made the cosmetic modifications so that you would never know. He also built a soffit which just changed everything. His guys were great. Clean-up perfect. We had a small snafu with the painters, nothing major, but again, Tom makes good on everything. He runs a tight ship. All I can say is use this guy. He does good work!!!

The result was just what we wanted. Tom and his crew did a very nice job on the room, we are looking forward to many years of use..

We hired Tom Brady Carpentry to replace the stair railings in our home. They original ones were out of date wrought iron from the 1960's and Tom installed new modern wood railings, newel posts and balusters. Tom and his crew were professional, on time, friendly and completed the job in one day. We are extremely pleased with the end result and look forward to hopefully working with him and his team on future projects.

I consulted with Tom for a remodel of our home. Tom was very responsive, quickly scheduled a home visit and was thorough and thoughtful in scoping the project and providing an estimate. I was particularly impressed that Tom actively identified ways to reduce the project cost and recommended against unnecessary items that would just increase the cost. Tom is an experienced and skilled tradesman who prides himself on providing quality and affordable remodeling and carpentry services.

Tom came out promptly to discuss the project. I found his communication style relaxed and confident. He, his brother and helper turned up on the scheduled date and completed the project in 3 days. Each morning they arrived promptly at 8am, worked continuously (with no obvious breaks) until 1pm then cleaned up and left the job site vacuumed and tidy. Throughout the project, Tom kept me updated on all their progress and even texted me several photos (this was important to me to be confident that they repaired the substantial structural damage caused by the ants). They supported the bay window while they uncovered the extent of the damage. Sistered new lumber to the remaining structure to make it safe again. Installed insulation in all the wall & floor cavities (he even accommodated my request to add a reflective radiant barrier to throw heat from the in-wall radiators back into the room instead of warming the exterior structure). Final trim was done in rot & pest resistant PVC with cedar shingles. Housewrap and caulking ensured that no water would penetrate the interior of the rebuilt walls. Overall completely happy with how the project went and the finished product. I would like to have Tom & team back to do more work.

Great! I called Tom Brady Carpentry on Friday, for this one-day job. He fit me in on the following Tuesday. He and his crew did an excellent job, and the finished work looks great. This is the third time I've hired them to do work for me, and I've been pleased every time.

Multiple repairs. Tom struck a fair deal, communicated throughout the process, and got the work done to my satisfaction.

Tom's communication was excellent throughout the entire process. He understood our vision for what our new deck would look like and it came out even better than I expected it to. Any question that came up, he responded to right away. There were a couple of slight delays, but he was always up-front and honest with me. A pleasure to work with.

We are very pleased with the work Tom Brady did for us. He replaced all our windows, rotted sills, front door, much of our trim and other projects. He and his team did excellent work in a timely fashion. They were also excellent about cleaning up. We absolutely would hire Tom again!

"Honest, courteous, pays attention to detail..." These are a few adjectives I would use to describe Tom Brady Carpentry and his team. They tore down my 14x24 wooden deck and replaced it with a 12x14 deck, working through the heat wave we had this July. The new deck was built beyond my expectations. Tom installed high quality material. The door was installed quickly and everything works great.

The contractor, Tom Brady (not the Quarterback) came out, listened to what we wanted, made suggestions, said how long it would take. He was very friendly and very professional and did quality work. I would highly recommend him.

Work was completed on time during which additional accommodations were agreed upon and met. Tom was an enthusiastic supporter of our plan (which other bidders balked at ) and met all our expectations. We would be happy to work with him again.

Tom Brady did a full finishing of our basement. It was a large walkout that was over 2000 sq feet. He did quality work from the floor to ceiling. It was a complete transformation. I will include more pictures soon but would recommend Tom and his team for projects big and small! His prices were rock solid but not at the expense of quality!

Tom was quick to call back, and follow up via email. He did a site visit within a day, gave me a reasonable estimate. Originally, he was just going to cut and place a vent for an external wall venting new microwave hood. It ended up he did the install of the microwave as well, and did not charge me anything extra, even though it ended up being a bit more involved than anticipated. He did what he said he'd do, and more, within the time frame promised. Can't ask for much more than that.

Tom Brady is a pleasure to work with. From the beginning he was prompt in answering my inquiries, on time for every appointment, and 100% reliable. He did an estimate of the project almost immediately, was flexible as to the demands of my own difficult schedule, and did absolutely first rate carpentry installing the door. He also gave me free advice about other construction. The price was reasonable and the whole transaction was pleasant and friendly. He works very quickly and is completely professional. I would hire him again in a second!

Tom and his crew were excellent. I was in the middle of a major renovation project when my carpenter disappeared. Tom agreed to work on my house whenever he had a free day or two in his schedule. Over the period of two months he came in and corrected many errors and shoddy work done by the previous carpenter. He worked with me to design and build a new front porch, roof extension, and rear deck. He framed, floored and insulated the attic. He removed and replaced damaged vinyl siding. During the rainiest fall on record, Tom and his brothers Sean and Kevin, went way above and beyond, switching from one task to another, inside and outdoors, to get the house finished, on time and on budget.

Tom and his crew were wonderful and always repesctful to us and our property. They were there on the job when they said they would be. Tom was available until 9:00 at night when I had questions or wanted to know how the work was going. I had hired Tom and his crew a few years back for a smaller job and he was the only one I needed to call for this bigger job.

My family has had an old colonial home that a second floor porch supported by a pair of columns that were starting to show signs of serious rot. They were enclosed by shingles so we didn't know exactly the extent of the damage but it was clear that both columns were going to need repair work. Tom was upfront about the uncertainties involved in the project and we indicated that we understood that there would be some variability in the work. He was understanding about our desire to use specific materials in the work and responsive to our desire to document and cross-check the work. We've had contractors cheat on contracts in the past with substandard material so we being rather thorough in checking everything and he was patient as we did so. When looking at further damage to the rear porch he had a contract to rebuild that within a few days and we went ahead and had him do that work too. Everything seems in good shape now and the smooth relationship with Tom was a big part of that.

Tom was extremely responsive / installed exactly what we agreed upon / performed the work quickly. I thought the price was a bit high (reason for the "B" on price), but I value folks that are responsive and take pride in their work. Tom wants to do the right thing and ensure the client is happy + the quality of the final product.
