Roger installed a 3D metal sculpture in a 2 story family room. The project was challenging due to multiple pieces, heavy weight, height on wall and irregular shape. Looks fantastic, very pleased with the outcome.

Roger was great. This mirror had been a serious pain for us. We asked our contractor to hang it, only for the wire to snap and the mirror to almost fall off the wall. The mirror then sat on our bedroom floor for 5 months as we looked for people who could not only hang the 75 lb mirror, but also could attach the appropriate hardware to hang the mirror, as the mirror is very thin depth and generally fragile. Roger was responsive to text and email and came over within a week. He hung the mirror (plus a few other small items) with great results!

I highly recommend Shades IN Place. Roger is a true professional - he was so easy to work with from beginning of the project to completion. He installed plantation shutters in our master bedroom, including 2 arched windows that were an unusual size -- and they are perfect. We had an issue with the installation and Roger went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied, and we are ... the shutters look amazing. He is courteous, always on time, a great communicator, and an expert in his field. A++ !!

Roger was great to work with - start to finish. He was very responsive, by email or by phone, whichever was most convenient for me at the time, which I really appreciate. He came to the house to give me a quote, so the problem I had with the existing curtains, and gave me a variety of solutions at different price points. I was so pleased with his efficiency and the quality of the work.

Roger was very responsive and returned my call the same day I left a message. He was punctual for the initial in-house appointment, and spent as much time as I needed to go over all of the options. He took careful measurements of my windows and left me alone to go through all of his "swatches". There was no sales pressure from him at all. I did make the decision on what I wanted to do based on that first meeting. He followed up with a price for the job within 24 hours of our meeting. While the cost was more than you'd pay at a box store (Lowe's, Home Depot, etc), you are paying for a great quality product, plus the peace of mind that comes from someone professionally measuring and installing the shades. I found his prices comparable to another similar service in a nearby community. Roger told me it would take 3 weeks to order the shades, which was accurate. The installation of all the shades took about 90 minutes. He laid out a tarp for his tools and the boxes to go on, and also wore covers on his shoes to not track any debris on my floors. He even agreed to take away the old window blinds that were on the windows when I asked him, as I had no plans to keep them. I was very satisfied with the end result and would definitely recommend Roger to anyone looking for this type of service.

Roger was SPECTACULAR! He was very flexible in scheduling the installation of four very wide cellular shades and one set of vertical blinds in a patio door, particularly when the shade provider shipped the shades later than anticipated. He arrived at the exact time he said he would (7am), worked quickly and professionally to install all the shades in just over an hour, and took the empty boxes with him. He was professional, courteous and friendly. His price was very reasonable. We've been in our brand new house less than 6 months and I've dealt with countless providers and service people and Roger was the best choice I've ever made. Stop crawling through reviews and just hire him!
