He did a lousy job. He didn't finish the job even though I paid him. He never came back to finish the job.

J&J provided me with a quality job at my house. Communication was first rate, from getting a quote, through the duration of the work, to the final walk-through. The team was professional and conscientious, and did a really nice job.

After providing the initial quote, there was minimal or no communication, start work date was moved twice and they did not show up on the date they agreed to start the work. Unfortunately J & J Masonry did not show up to start the work and re-scheduled the start date two times. They showed up to give us a quote. When we asked them about dates, they said their schedule was generally open and to pick a date. We requested a date in August and J&J confirmed it worked for them. A week before the scheduled work start date, I called them to confirm the start date again and they did not reply. After multiple phone calls with no reply, they sent me a text saying they have scheduling difficulties because a worker had a medical issue and could the start date move to late Sept. I reached out again a week before the start date of the new date in Sept and got no replies. After multiple calls with no answer, my condo association decided to find another contractor because clearly, J&J Masonry were a no-show.

A great job done by Joe and crew. Finished work in two days. Cleaned up and will do finial inspection in two weeks. I will followup with a new report at that time. I highly recommend them for their work and cost.

Their carpenter broke 2 windows and didn't finish his job. On the restoration they did a very good job,but missed a few details. Sealing the driveway was a disaster. It looks terrible. They charged me for the sealer not the labor. They offered to make it good next year. That means I have to look at the mess for a year. They did a great job keeping the place clean. They worked around my flowers with almost no damage.

Unfortunately my experience with J & J Masonry Solutions was sub par. Initially they were very responsive, came out quickly to provide a quote and their prices were very reasonable. After going back and forth a bit about what we would do, communication broke down entirely. They stopped returning my calls and when I did get them on the phone, Joe said "he'd check his calendar and get back to me." Unfortunately after telling me that twice and not getting back to me, it's clear he was just blowing me off. Joe and Jared seemed really nice and knowledgeable, it's a shame they won't be doing our repairs.
