+ -1 morePoor customer service from customer service rep jamie and even the manager nancy, refused to be understanding and empathize with my dilemma , poor explanation of procedure and in the end due to unprofessionalism, refused to help and was very agressive about it also, don't understand how they are still In business. I have the recorded conversation for those who want to hear to know the truth ! Look at all the recent reviews with unhappy customers , should have known better !

+ -1 moreI definitely recommend D&S Appliances if you need warranty work or repairs. Our repairs were at no charge because the stove was brand new and under manufacturer's warranty.
Description of Work: Our Brand New Whirlpool gas stove was discovered damaged upon removing the protective coverings at delivery and the front power burner did not work. We immediately reported it as required on the warranty and were connected to D&S Appliances, as authorized repair for Whirlpool appliances. D&S was very professional to work with and the repair person, Mark, was patient and careful. He treated my brand new stove and us with respect and I appreciate that.

When we attempted to have them come a retreive the bad part they installed and the new one that was shipped to our house they stonwalled us, saying that they didn't take back electrical parts, we tried to explain one had failed by their own testing and the other wasn't needed since we felt it was better to buy a new oven (our old one was 10 years old) rather than spend all that money on repair. We called repeatedly, asking to speak to the owner and was always told he was never in. Once the woman who answered said she didn't know the procedure because SHE HAD ONLY BEEN THERE FIVE YEARS! We bought a new oven and "ate" a loss of about $500.
Description of Work: D&S was called to service our electric oven. They came out and replaced to front control panel electronics. It didn't work correctly. Cost of repairing Vs. new was being weighed when they ignored our instructiuons and ordered another expensive part and had it delivered to our house. we told them we'd decided to buy a new oven.
