He did a great job, showed up on time, reasonable cost and set the appointment quickly. After multiple bad experiences with other plumbers, I would never use anyone else.

He lives close by and was happy to make it the last stop of same day. It cost approximately $100 for an hour minimum and said he'd be willing to do anything else needed as I had to pay for the hour anyway. He even recommended purchasing a tool that I could use at 1/3 the cost of his visit.

Joe was very upfront about the possible issues, his availability and gave some suggestions in trying to fix the problem myself.

Joe arrived on time after we negotiated an appointment due to my busy schedule. The job was tough in that he had to get to the faucet connections in a very tight area. The faucet was not an exact replica in that it would hang ever so slightly over the sink. Joe thought it wise to consult me on that for aesthetic purposes (He really wanted to make sure my wife was OK with :) It was very minor but I really appreciated him consulting us. Joe finished quickly and his price was very reasonable. I will definitely recommend Joe and will use him again.

My baseboard pipe that is my source of heat in the room above the garage burst when the weather warmed up a little bit. This happin at approx. 4:30 in the morning, causing water to cascade down into the smoke detector in the garage setting off all of the detectors in the house. Needless to say I was very concerned and jumped onto Angie's list to find a plumber. I left messages at the first two, and my third one was a charm. I called Byrne plumbing and spoke to Joe's wife who passed me to Joe who tried to talk to me about shutting off the water at the boiler to the zone for that room. He said that he would be there within the hour and he was. He answered all of my questions, and fixed the two leaks that I had. He charged me a fair price, and was very professional. I would use him again in a heatbeat, and plan on doing just that.

Joe arrived on time, as usual, and quickly went to work. I had my bathroom vanity replaced and the water feed pipes and the sink drain pipe all had to be fixed to accommodate the new sink and faucet. Joe did the work in a very efficient and professional manner and the results were outstanding. I have had Joe fix/replace several fixtures in my home over the past two years and he is a pleasure to work with. He charges very reasonable rates and works quickly without sacrificing quality of work. I would highly recommend Joe Byrne to anyone who has plumbing issues.

Byrne Plumbing completed a complete conversion of our costly oil burner to a gas burner and all the necessary plumbing work. I would definitely have Joe Byrne do any other plumbing work based on his work ethic, job assessment, his analysis of the job, neatness, courtesy and overall professionalism.

Quick and easy. Joe was exactly on time. Our problem was simpler than we knew. He fixed it quickly and explained some things about my plumbing for future reference. Took all of 15 minutes. We're fixed and I have piece of mind.

Very well. Mr. Byrne called me back shortly after I left him the message that I need emergency service on the toilet immediately. This is saturday morning. We scheduled the time before noon and Mr. Byrne came on time and replaced the wax ring in the leaking toilet within an hour.

Jim was fantastic. He was early, which was great, and I am an avid DIY-er so I asked if i could tag along while he did his work. He was great, explained everything he was doing and why, and I feel extremely educated about how the plumbing works in my house. It took him about an hour, he managed to add a line going up to the kitchen, connect the fridge and he even threw in some advice about a DIY project I am doing in the bathroom that I was stumped on. He didn't even try to sell me on letting him do that part, he just advised me and gave me some suggestions. All in all he performed the work requested professionally, and was very helpful and friendly.

Jim Byrne disconnected our old gas range and dishwasher and, once the new appliances were delivered, connected the new range and dishwasher for us. He spent about two and a half hours total for the two separate visits (three days apart). We were extremely and pleasantly surprised when the entire bill for both visits was under $200. We had expected it to be much more. Jim was pleasant and professional during both visits, arriving right on time. We will use Jim for any future plumbing needs, without a doubt.

He was very good. He was here for about 1 1/2-2 hours. He was prompt and on time. He was personable and very knowledgeable about the products. When we called he told us what brands of faucets lasted the longest and had the best access to replacement parts so he was also knowledgeable about the fixtures and what would last the longest and give us the best value for our buck. We are planning to use him for a bathroom in the basement when we do our basement remodel. Overall it was a very good experience. We would definitely recommend him.

Joe was outstanding. My faucet developed a leak after I tried to replace a hose. Joe came over on a Saturday and spent about an hour diagnosing the problem in the hopes of avoiding having to replace the whole faucet. Unfortunately a weld had broken so I needed a new faucet. Joe refused to let me pay him for his time because he hadn't fixed the problem. I bought a new faucet and he came back on Monday to install it which went great. Joe is the only plumber I will ever use.

He came in, no nonsense. Looked at it and fixed it within the hour.

Used Angie's list to find a plumber. Byrne plumbing came out and evaluated the heater. They were back out with in the week to replace it! SUPER job!

We had called Joe in the fall of 2012 because of another issue in the house, and asked him about changing the fixtures in the shower. He told us that we would probably need to re-tile the shower after the job was done because it would be impossible not to remove enough tiles to get at the area without breaking them (because of their age) and we didn't have any spare ones. We asked if that would still be the case if he could have access from the wall behind the shower. He said that it would definitely be helpful. So, this April we decided to remodel the bathroom behind the shower (tiny 2 pice bath off the master) and opened up the wall. I spoke to joe on Monday, he was there on Wednesday, and now we have a nice and shiny single turning valve with nicely placed trim to hide the old holes for hot and cold. Looks like it was always meant to look that way. We are thrilled for our elderly mother who can now turn the handle with ease. We should have called and taken care of this 10 years ago.

I chose Joe Byrne based on the excellent reviews on Angie's List and he demonstrated why his ratings are so high. It took him 2 hours as expected and he charged me less than he quoted due to the fact that he got the tank for less money than he originally thought. He shows you his invoice for parts which is unusual. Friendly, punctual, and very professional.

Plumber Joe Byrne arrived at my home on a weekend (Saturday) within a half hour of my call. Within the next hour he had my new kitchen faucet installed, my disposer and dishwasher working again; and my fancy guest bath faucet installed the way I wanted. Absolutely FABULOUS! This is service the way it should be - high quality, reasonable price - even on a Saturday!
