Description of Work: The plumber was very nice on the phone and made time to come assess my situation quickly to fit my schedule. That was great. He evaluated 3 separate jobs in my house - one minor and two more major that would have been expensive. I liked him and wanted him to do the work. I asked him to provide an estimate once he had priced the necessary parts. I asked when he would be available to do the work. And then I never heard from him again :(

Description of Work: Last minute emergency service weekend before Xmas- Joe came out quick, providing reasonable solutions and resolved our issue timely and with quality. In a home with only one full bath and the shower broken going into the holidays would be very inconvenient to say the least. With Bryne quick response, holidays with the family went smooth.

Description of Work: Joe B. is a great plumber. I would recommend him to anyone. He was fast, did good work, punctual and fairly priced. He returned not once but twice to help me accommodate an oddly configured master bath vanity drain. (He came back due to my mistakes, not his own.). I am very satisfied with his work and will definitely hire him again.

Description of Work: Joe the invisible plumber.He came over my house and we discussed everything that I requested to be done. I wanted two bathroom faucets installed and new plumbing for my washing machine. I also mentioned a gas fire place set I to be installed. He said he would get back to me with prices.He never called. What a waste of time!

Description of Work: I had Joe come and change the faucet and guts to and old faucet system in the bathroom. He did a professional job and made sure I saw that everything He also looked at my dishwasher that was not draining. Had to remove the garbage disposal as when the new one was put in (not by Joe) they forgot to remove a little plug to let the dishwasher drain. He made sure it worked before he left. Pricing was excellent and Joe was GREAT!!! Will definitely use him again. I highly recommend his services!!

 + -1 moreHe was great, he came in and did all the stuff above and was much cheaper than any other plumber i have ever worked with. he even warned us that one fix might not work and if it didnt he would come back to fix it. it didn't work link he warned and he came back and fixed it at no extra charge. Also first time he was there he noticed the sink facet wasnt working well, and he replaced it, bundled the labor into the overall job and just charge us parts. Great plumber.
Description of Work: Redo water line for refridge, install dishwasher, fix leaking shower drain, replace water line for toilet, reseal toilet in another bathroom, new sink fixture.

 + -1 moreI was extremely impressed with Joe's responsiveness and professionalism. He was courteous and friendly and I will definitely call him again when something really does go wrong.
Description of Work: Wow! I am so impressed. My toilets were making strange, loud noises upon flushing. After reading reviews on the list, I called Byrne. I spoke with Joe and he was at my house within 30 minutes. When he arrived, 2 of the 3 toilets were fine and the 3rd returned to normal after just one flushing. Turns out that there was just some air in the system. I felt terrible that Joe had responded for what turned out to be nothing. I offered to pay him for the inconvenience but he refused to take any money.

Description of Work: I called Joe Byrne because there was a leak above the kitchen ceiling coming from the bathtub. After describing the situation Joe asked if the shower had not been used for a while. Indeed, it had not been used for at least 9 months. He explained how there is a rubber o-ring that can dry out, and I could try to replace it myself, or he could do it for me and investigate the rest of the plumbing for any other issues. Replacing the Symmons Temptrol TA-25A Diverter Spindle, which had a brand new o-ring on it, fixed the leak.

Mr Byrne arrived early and did his job quickly and then because we had paid for an hour checked out our system and found a pipe that needed patching and repaired that also.  + -1 moreThis was a two step process. Joe had to come one day and disconnect everything and return the day after the counters were installed to re-install everything. Joe was prompt on both occassions. He worked diligently and quickly on both days. The work on the second day took a little longer than expected because the new sink did not install as advertised. He also needed to go out and get some parts for installing the whole house filter. When he presented us the bill he did not charge us for the time spent on the parts run. After we settled up I noted he had forgottent to charge us for the time he spent the first day disconnecting the two sinks ( about 1.5 hours) not an insignificant amount of time. He waived off the difference - a plumber not out to get all he can get. I would definitely call him again and refer him to any one who was looking for a good realible honest plumber,.
Description of Work: I had grantie counter tops installed. Joe needed to disconnect and reconnect the kitchen and bathroom sinks. In addition he had to relocate the garbage disposal. He also installed a whole house water filtration system.

Description of Work: Joe Byrne unhooked the gas line from my stove so that I could have a floor installed--he also repaired my bathroom sink, and adjusted my toilet. Once the floor was in, he came back, hooked up my stove, and reinstalled the pedestal sink that had been removed by the flooring company (a monster of a sink--heavy, with atypical plumbing apparatus). Joe was the consummate professional, friendly, helpful, and just a pleasure to deal with. Additionally, when he noticed that the door to my bathroom was scraping my newly installed floor, he pointed it out to me, removed the door, planed it, and hung it again--as a courtesy. (He had already written up my bill--and he did not charge me for this additional service.)

Description of Work: My washing machine supply shutoff leaked when I removed the washing machine hoses. I'm pretty handy around the house, but refrain from working on sweating pipes. I called Bryne Plumbing to have them come out and fix it. Joe Bryne returned my call within the hour. He said it was an easy fix, one that a homeowner could do, no need to sweat pipes, just replace a simple part. Joe walked me through what I needed to buy and how to fix it over the phone. When I went to do the actual work, I had another question and Joe was quick to call me back and help out over the phone. I ended up doing the work myself (less than 30 minutes) and saving myself money. Byrne Plumbing will be my first call for any future plumbing related issue.

Description of Work: I had this plumber install two toilets and fix my garbage disposal. This job took roughly an hour and a half to complete.
