Ist time we ever had ice dams after insulation put in. Mass Save came back and said, while the ice dams were unrelated, it was not done correctly. One of the owners came out to evaluate. He personally oversaw the job was corrected. The workers were clean professional.

Very well indeed. Well done. Blown in insulation is the most effective and affordable product. This company did a very good job. Being a retired general contractor I understand the difference of done and done well. The results met my quality standards.

We scheduled an appointment them, but they did not show up on the day, or inform us that a worker had suffered an injury the day before, and that therefore they had to cancel our appointment. We were kept in the dark. We eventually learned what had happened, but they did not take steps to inform us in a timely way.

Someone from the company contacted me, said they could not perform the work due to a backlog but did recommend someone else who worked out very well.

I had our home insulated and 8 windows replaced by Rogers insulation. Jason and Brett arrived on time,introduced themselves and explained the work they were going to do and the time frame. A short time later Chris joined them and began work in the basement. I immediately had confidence in the crew and although my dog barked all day deafening all of us, this has been a very good experience. Brett explained the work that was accomplished as he left and thanked me. We had windows installed also this fall and Brian was great. These guys are very busy and it tooks months to schedule, but they were very highly recommended. The sales person, Frank, was extremely knowledgeable and although busy, always returned my emails and phone calls. It was a complicated retrofit job with several options, and it took 5-6 back and forth discussions to find the best solution. I really appreciated Frank always getting back to me within a day and explaining his reasoning. Thecrew of 2 came on the appointed day. They were very professional and neat, explained everything they needed to do and completed the job in one day. It looks great but I won't really know until a winter or two has passed and I am free of ice dams! They were not the cheapest company, but I sense you get what you pay for, and this job met my expectations.

They were very responsive to initial inquiry. They sent preliminary information about the job and what to expect. They gave us an install date and showed up as promised. They kept us informed about what they were doing throughout the job. Clean up was adequate. I would recommend them highly.

Very helpful and great customer service, however I can't wait that long to get the work done.

Following a Home Energy Assessment by Conservation Services Group, we contacted a couple of insulation companies. We wanted the old insulation removed from the crawl spaces on the front and back of the house before blowing in new insulation as well as blowing insulation into the walls. Rogers Insulation suggested we split the job since they were scheduling for December and the vinyl siding would be too brittle. We weren't sure they understood the job included removing the old insulation, so we sent a follow-up email. We were told they don't remove old insulation but work with a couple of companies that do and they'd refer us but we'd have to arrange the removal directly with that contractor. We contacted the energy assessment company and were told the primary contractor is responsible for subcontracting. Rogers Insulation (John Taglienti) said if that was the requirement then they would do that but would like to come out and see the job. John commented that the venting pipe in the crawl space appeared to be wrapped in asbestos and his guys would be pulling hoses over the vent and disrupting the asbestos. He did not want to expose his crew to that ... and we would not want him to. He suggested we contact someone certified by the EPA for testing and for removal. He said they might even do insulation. With regard to blowing insulation into the walls, he felt the vinyl siding was too old and would not hold up well, i.e., in all probability it would be damaged. We told him we had some water damage over the winter and the representative from Energy Assessment said the insulation contractor would be able to tell if any old insulation was damaged ... and then would not do that area. He disagreed that they would be able to tell with any certainty if the old insulation had been wet since the holes they create for blowing in the insulation would not necessarily be in the same area as the damaged insulation. We appreciated his honesty and recommendation.

I?m the type who gives people the benefit of the doubt and NEVER leave negative feedback as I simply just move on. However, I joined Angie?s list to avoid the frustrations of finding good professional help but with my very first Angie?s list pick proved to be too much for me? I called in late July and spoke with a gentleman (don?t recall his name now). I explained my situation and expressed frustration over how I?ve gotten nowhere with others as they never call back. The gentleman sounded professional and ensured me he?s not like that?his Angie list grading seemingly backed this up, as he pointed out. He then goes on to tell me that he's extremely busy but will call me after the "August break". He actually did call back in late August, left me a voice mail stating how busy he is and will contact me within the next week. I never heard from him again. I called him back in early September, left a voice mail, and of course never heard back. I then called again on September 24th, got voice mail again but this time decided to move on and did not leave a voice mail. I have to leave a hole in the ceiling of my first floor bathroom to be sure the pipes don't freeze...a HOLE in the ceiling. Every time I go into that bathroom I get more and more frustrated seeing that hole. I simply cannot take it anymore and thus the reason for my first ever review of anything in my life. Look I fully understand that people get busy and forgetful, I?m that way. Looking at this company?s reviews they are really good and my review in the out-liner. To me they are just another contractor who?s seemingly too busy to help the small job residential folks. I?m left with pipes continually freezing and STILL nobody to turn to. I?m now going on three years of this and nobody to help. Thanks guys

Excellent. This was our second time requesting Roger's through MassSave. Wonderful job - they really work hard - follow eval by MassSave shows they really know what they're doing. Very professional and the office is great to work with. Not that they've made us snug as a bug, we're done insulating. I would not hesitate calling them. By the way, for those reading this, MassSave picks 75% of the cost if your electric or gas company is supporting MassSave. This work cost us $450. If you have this option, you are missing out if you don't proceed. Best time to make an appt with CSG directly through MassSave is early Spring. If you don't make it directly, they'll send you to a sub-contractor who will, be defiinition, do the insulation. In my humble opinion, this is a conflict of interest.

Rogers made an appointment to meet with us about our project and then cancelled the day before the appointment. Even worse, the appointment was made by us, the homeowner, but Rogers didn't call us to cancel, they called our framer instead. It was just as well because we ended up using Closed Cell Structures for insulation who did a great job!

Done over 2 days. Each team of guys per day were great. Professional, timely, hard-working, efficient, and also kind (a big plus for me), They explained everything....(even the how-does-it-work questions I asked from pure curiosity). The administrative team/office -- also great and responsive. I'd highly recommend them!

Rogers was awesome. It was easy to set up the appointment. John Tagliati came promptly. He gave me sound advice. He did not try to do more than he could do well. Once they scheduled the job they came and did it promptly, and he even refunded me money for some work that we decided against doing. I would hire them again in a heart beat.

They did a nice job and Mass Save sent someone out afterwards to check on the work which they said was good.

Everything went smoothly. They came back once to get one small area in the basement that had been overlooked.

* Total cost was $2,285.73 but the Mass Save incentive paid $1,714.30. Rogers workers were friendly and thoroughly professional. They arrived at the appointed time and completed the work in a timely and professional manner, taking great care to protect our carpets and possessions. I found them through Angie's List and couldn't be happier. We would hire them again without hesitation.

At first they were great in responding to my questions over the phone and via email. We wanted to have the spray foam done before having central AC installed in our attic in late August. I called and talked to Rogers about when they were scheduling spray foam jobs and I was told 2-3 weeks from now. I mailed my deposit that day and called the next week to follow up. 5 days later, they say they hadn't seen it, same with 7 days and then almost 2 weeks. Eventually they said that spray foam jobs are being scheduled for late September/early October, which was not great, but I agreed to it anyway. Then 2 days later I received an email saying they are no longer scheduling any jobs for 2016 and do I want them to mail me my check or to just cut it up. This is completely unprofessional and a terrible way to do business. I would do my best to stay away from these guys as they don't seem to have any idea what they are doing. Going from "yes, we can be there in 2-3 weeks" to sending me an email basically saying they didn't want my work (couldn't you at least have the decency to call me and tell me?) AFTER they had my deposit check for almost 3 weeks is a joke. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

Was scheduled as a two day project. Crew showed up on time. Very professional, yet easy going. Looked over the scope of the job and then got right to it. Protected all the work areas first, as well as the access pathways. Some challenges arose during the process, but the crew was very communitive and everything was worked thru without delay. The first day was installation and prep for the 2nd day. At the end of the first day, the crew did a thorough cleaning of the work areas and you couldn't tell they were even in the space. They arrived at 8am the 2nd morning, protected all the areas again, prepped for blowing in the cellulose. They promised to finish that day. By 6pm, they were finished, the space was once again cleaned very well. The job is a thing of beauty, for insulation. Neat, clean and well done work. We picked well in choosing this contractor and would use Rogers Insulation again.

The new owners had some issues that affected our ability to sign the contract. Once the sale was closed we signed the contract and sent in 2 checks for $1000 each. I called a week later to check the status of the checks. When we received the estimate the company had a 6 week lead time. They had not received the checks a week after sending. I called every day for a few days after. They informed me they were down one crew and would not be taking on any new jobs for the time being. I picked up my checks once they arrived.

At the time of the estimate, their rep did warn me that they had a very long lead time after agreeing to do the work due to being busy. Their quote was one of the highest we received, but we did have more confidence in them than in some of the others, so we were going to pick them. I tried to get in touch with the rep to clear up a couple of small questions, but he had gone on vacation for a few weeks. I tried to contact the person who was supposed to be filling in for him, but that person never responded to multiple attempts to contact them. Eventually, when I had failed to reach them for several consecutive weeks, I emailed the rep to let him know we would have to pick somebody else due to the combo of lack of communication and long lead time. He did respond to that, but he thought I was someone else. It seems like they have reached a point where they are too busy for their own good, and things are slipping through the cracks. We would have really liked to have them do the work, and probably they would have done a good job, eventually. But it wasn't important enough to them, so we'll never know.

Excellent to work with. We scheduled the work, they arrived on time as promised, and they did a great job installing the insulation. The team was meticulous, and the finished product looks excellent.
