Rogers Insulation Specialists

We used Rogers as part of the Masssave energy audit process. The Rogers team was on time, answered all of our questions prior to them being asked, and explained everything they were going to do. Since some of the work was in our children's bedrooms, they were very careful about getting dust on their things - covering their beds and most of the things in their room in room. I would use them again and highly recommend them if you're considering insulation work.

They took their time and did a thorough job. Our home was immediately noticeably warmer. We look forward to working with them again.

We used them through a program. They were very through, courteous and clean. They were quick. The workers were excellent.

They did blown in cellulose insulation in the attic floor boards and then some air sealing. They were easy to work with, they were very professional and were timely. They did what they said they would do. The overall quality was certainly sufficient. I don't think that they necessarily went above and beyond, but they did what they said they would do and they seemed to do it fairly well.

It went very well. I spoke to John (owner) at length prior to hiring them and then visited one of their job sites. There I met the crew who would most likely work on my house and the men answered all of my questions. I hired them and the job went well. They did the work as I imagined, and cleaned up after each day. The job took about one week to complete (large 2-family). This was a Mass Save project. Mass Save contributes $3,000 per apartment so my share ended up being just over $1,500.

They are punctual, do great work and are very professional.

Over the course of our insulation/heating/cooling project, we spoke with many companies and worked with several. Overall, we were happiest with Rogers Insulation Specialists. Of the multiple quotes we solicited, John from Rogers was the most thoughtful in matching his proposal to our needs; the other companies we had in seemed more interested in selling us what they were already planning on doing anyway, whether or not it was the most appropriate for our home. During the initial estimate, John took the time to tour the house completely from attic to basement and explain our options, as well as suggesting the Mass Save programs that we might be eligible for. He was then very patient as we dealt with the Mass Save bureaucracy. The day of the installation, the techs, Casey and Ryan, were courteous and friendly and did a fast, efficient job both air-sealing the house and blowing cellulose into the attic, and were careful about not clogging the air conditioner unit or its drainage pan. They used drop cloths over our hardwood floors and rugs and cleaned up the living areas thoroughly before they left. Our attic is cramped and hard to work in, but it still took them less than a day to finish the job. We are quite satisfied and would recommend Rogers to anyone in the area looking to have insulation work done.

They did insulation in three locations of the house. They did really good work. I wished they could have emailed a little quicker sometimes. They cleaned up really well, much better than some other insulation people I hired at a different house. I was very pleased with their work. The guys were very friendly when they were here and very respectful.

I didn't actually hire Rogers but the owner John took the time to speak with me on the phone and was very professional, friendly and helpful. Based on the price I received from another provider he actually recommended I pursue them but if I ever need more services I would definitely reach out to Rogers they are very knowledgeable and the owner John took time to speak with me even after I told him about my situation. That's customer service.

I should have known better when the owner of the company pulled up in an $80K+ Audi. Seems my job was too small for him to even write an estimate. Haven't seen or heard from him since the appointment...

I did not use them since they no longer do foam insulation, but the owner John just spent 15 minutes with me talking about attic insulation. He knew he wasn't getting a job out of it, but he spent the time anyway. That's customer service. Thanks John. I would recommend them based solely based on that, and if his work is as good as his knowledge and customer service then it will be good.

The work seems to have been done well and thoroughly. ?It certainly looks good and I haven't noticed any problems in the few months since the job was completed. ?It was also done pretty quickly and they cleaned up afterward quite nicely. ?I had to wait a few weeks between paying a deposit and the time the work was done but compared to wait times for other work I've had done I don't think it was long at all. From what I can tell, their price was reasonable. ?I had received one other quote that was significantly higher and one other that was similar. The only part of the job that could have gone better was the delivery of materials - they were dropped off at the house in a narrow spot that made access to the back door and garbage cans a little more difficult and they sat there for a couple of weeks. However, this was a relatively minor inconvenience, there were few options for where to leave the materials,?and it does not detract from my overall Excellent rating. It was a pleasure to work with Rogers Insulation Specialists and I plan to ask them to perform additional work at my house in the future.

the refigerator was unplugged and lost everything in it. Rick responded well and reimbursed me for the cost. I was concerned about breathing in harmful chemicals as I have asthma. They did not check for holes in the home and blew insulation into a hole and it was spread under the bed. When I moved the bed a week later I found it. We were breathing this cellulose insulation for 1 Week. I had to clean it up myself. I later found insulation blown all over items stored in my basement and on the dishes in my kitchen. Again they did not check to see if there were any potential holes or if anyting was getting into living spaces. I thought they were fixing the insulation in my attick space. it was all torn apart and they said it was not needed and they did not clean the mess up. they made a make shift door inside my closet with foam board that falls out everytime I open my closet. they also did not tell me they had to do the job over 2 days they had to come out 3 times. it took 3 -5 months to get scheduled. Rick and carol the owners were responsive to my concens but the workers were sloppy and did not do a very good job

They came and insulated the basement ceiling but told me they have to come back to finish an area that needed to be accessed from outside. When I did not hear from them for about a week, I called, no response. I called again later and left a VM. No response again. I emailed the office and asked them about the plan. I did not get a response. After a few month passed, I had to finish the area with another contractor. About a year later, the owner of the company called and emailed and mailed me a bill for the rest of his money which per the contract was supposed to be paid at the completion of the job which never happened. Long story short, at the end he threatended me that he will refer me to a collector/lawyer. So a few weeks later, the lawyer/collector called and since he did not have a case based on the correspondence I showed him (emails), he accepted my offer of paying him half the remaining payment and have him go away. My guess is that when I contacted them they were busy with better and bigger jobs and did not care to return my call since they had to come back and finish. Then, being the very organized business they are, he forgot about the job all together. Later at the end of the year, when he went through his records for tax, he realized he messed up. I did not have any problem with this part. The problem was that in his messages and letters he lied about the fact that "I" had requested "extra work" on the basement and that he had finished the job on time and had not been paid. That was proved to be wrong and a lie when I showed his lawyer/collector the email correspondence. Anyway, I would not deal with them again, would not recommend them to anyone I like! Stay away!

Rogers Insulation was outstanding. Highly professional estimate and work planning. Excellent quality work, especially with applying insulation to small spaces, to which they had to create access. Timely fashion and exactly as described. Excellent care to keep the house clean. Only down-side was the drywall replacement at their access points was less than perfect and required some work to make it paintable.

I am gc'ing the job myself and had gotten behind. Obviously mine was not a very big job and I was worried about getting placed deep into some company's queue. Roger's was extremely responsive and accommodated my job between other larger jobs getting out to help me out a week from my first call. Very happy to recommend. Easy to work with, showed up when they said and performed the task as wanted.

The guys were very professional, and John (co-owner) showed up mid-way to see how things are going and even getting additional crew to get the work done the same day. The work was of very good quality though only area of improvement is I wish there were a bit more insulation in the attic (I may not be the best judge but I'll let MassSave inspection make that call). But I'll definitely hire them again if I needed work in this area.

It went well. They were very professional. When insulation blew through the floor of my upstairs neighbor they went up and put down paper to keep it between my ceiling and his floor. They were very nice to work with.

They were disorganized and didn't do a complete job.

Through the MassSave.com program, I was eligible for getting my home insulated and air sealed. Roger's Insulation works very closely with the MassSave program and they did a very god job at improving the insulation and air infiltration of my home. The installation team was very courteous, they maintained a clean work space, and they were responsive to questions. The owners of the company stopped by to see how the job was progressing and made time to answer questions.

What a great experience! I fist spoke with Carol over the phone. Because there is a family member with a disability living at the location, she put us at the top of the on-call/standby list. The work was scheduled to be done in late January but they were able to come a month earlier! Jimmy and his crew were polite, professional, hardworking and clean. They finished the job the same day.
