A few years ago, I hired him to install a new air conditioning unit. It’s been having problems since he installed it. The air conditioning unit hasn’t been fixed. He’ll tell me that it’s working, but it’s not working. I re-hired him to do some work in the basement after a flood; drywall and painting. He came out and did the work, but he did a pretty crummy job. There are seams that are visible where the new drywall & the old drywall is attached; he just painted over it. The paint turned out different shades of yellow. He agreed to re-do the work, but he wants me to complete the rest of the payment. I first gave him a $1,000, but now he wants the second payment before fixing anything. He called me at 9 last night, asking for the money, which has now been all that he’s been focusing on lately. I’ll be happy to write the check once the work is properly done, but not at this point.

I believe this company stopped taking new work. Everything went well; he did the work on time and on budget.

Rick is great and we really like him. He is honest and you can count on him. He can get busy but he always comes through. He is a great guy to work with and I would highly recommend him. His prices are really good. If there is a problem, he comes back and fixes it. I would give him an A across the board, he is excellent all around.

After the job was done and he was fully paid, he came back to resolve a problem caused by a different contractor. I was pleased, he really bailed me out of a jam.

I think it went quite well overall. They came on time when they said they would. The quality of work was quite good. The workers were professional and courteous. And the price was reasonable.

He is extremely accessible. His phone number is his cell phone number and if you leave him a message he gets right back to you. He always keeps me informed on the nature of his work and on how things are going. I would recommend him to anyone.

Rick brought new life to a really depressing kitchen and foyer. It needed everything, including releveling the floor and ceiling. Anyone who saw the "before" of this room is absolutely amazed with the transformation! He's honest, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and patient. We had a positive experience w/ all of the people who work with him, as well: electrician, plumber, hvac, etc al. They did a great job, always cleaned up at the end of the day, and came up with ways that we could actually use the kitchen throughout the project. We will definitely hire Rick again, and have already recommended him to friends and family.

OVERALL, RICK IS VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND CARES ABOUT DOING THE BEST WORK POSSIBLE.

I WAS ASKED IF I GOT HIS NAME FROM ANGIE'S LIST; HE SAID HE WAS BUSY; I SAID I LIVED IN THE SAME TOWN AND IF HE FOUND SOME TIME WOULD HE PLEASE STOP BY. I GUESS TRADES PEOPLE HAVE THE RIGHT TO NOT COME AND GIVE ESTIMATES FOR POTENTIAL WORK.

HE FOLLOWED THE LIST FROM THE TOWN TO THE LETTER AND EXCEEDED IT. HE DID A MAGNIFICENT JOB. HE IS COURTEOUS, KNOWS HIS LIMITATIONS AND WILL SAY SO. HE DID TAKE A FEW DAYS TO GET BACK TO ME, BUT HE ALWAYS CALLS ME BACK. HE FOUND AN EXCELLENT PLUMBER FOR ME. HIS GROUP IS CLEAN, POLITE, FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS AND CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES.

QUITE EXCELLENT. SUPERB PRICE, HALF AS MUCH AS OTHER ESTIMATES, BUT THE RESULT SEEMS TO BE THAT IT IS VERY HARD TO GET RICK TO COMMIT TO DOING WORK FOR YOU. I RATHER WISH HE WOULD INCREASE THE PRICE AND BE MORE AVAILABLE!

HE WAS EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE, POLITE, WORK WAS DONE WELL, AND HE HAD GOOD IDEAS.

I CALLED AND HE SAID HE WAS BUSY AND WOULD CALL BACK, GIVING NO DATE OR TIME. HE DID CALL AND STATED HIS FAMILY WAS SICK AND AGAIN DID NOT KNOW WHEN HE COULD BE AVAILABLE. HE THEN DID CALL AND SET AN APPOINTMENT AND NEVER CALLED OR SHOWED.

HE EXPLAINED TO ME THAT HE HAD THE RIGHT TO CHARGE FOR AN ESTIMATE. I STATED I HAD THE RIGHT TO COMPARE PRICING. HIS RECORD IN ANGIE'S LIST STATES THAT HE OFFERS FREE ESTIMATES. HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO GUARANTEE I WOULD HIRE HIM FOR THE JOB FOR HIM TO COME DOWN. I DID NOT LIKE HIS APPROACH. HE MADE THE COMMENT THAT WHEN HE GIVES FREE ESTIMATES, HE DOESN'T GET THE JOB. I BASICALLY FELT HE WAS BEING CHILDISH. IT WAS NOT PROFESSIONAL AND WAS A BIG TURN OFF.

I CALLED AND THEY SET UP THE APPOINTMENT TO COME OVER. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP OR CALLED.

EXCELLENT SERVICE!! I'VE RECOMMENDED RICK TO MY FRIENDS FOR HIS PROFESSIONALISM AND AN EXCEPTIONALLY COMPLETE JOB. THE DETAIL-WORK WAS BEAUTIFUL AND THOROUGH; MY EXPECTATIONS WERE EXCEEDED!
