This handyman/contractor Michael Pagucci was contracted by Kristie. He came to my home and provided an estimate of work. At no time did Kristie the contractor come to evalaute the work to be done. I tried to contact her serveral times by phone no answer to my calls. She repsonded either via email or by late phone calls. He went to Home Depot with me to pick out Doors for my home. He put the doors on top of his car. He stated his truck had broken down.. When we left Home Depot he said he would meet me at my house which was 5 to 10 minutes away. An hour had passed and he still had not arrived. I try calling him several times and no answer. I also tried calling the original contractor who had subcontracted him and no answer. 2 to 3 hours later he shows up with the doors. I asked him where he was and he said oh I had to go help out my grandmother. I asked him why he didn't answer his phone and he said oh it was in the car. Even though I had called him five minutes before he arrived and he still didn't answer the phone.I Asked him to put the doors in the garage and I told him his services were no longer needed. I looked over the estimate he had given me for all the work that he had recommended, after having my insurance adjuster come into the home. I also had another contractor look at the estimate of the description of what needed to be completed. Not only did he overcharge me but he also put down work that didn't really need to be done this is her response to my concerns. . " I wanted to take a minute to write to you per our conversation on Monday. I own a consulting company, KLF&D Solutions. My company assisted with the founding of PJA Services, which is a home maintenance and repair company, co-owned by myself and Perry Alexander. Our website is www.pja-services.biz. We had a significant growth spurt with the business and have recently re-directed the business, which involved calling on some of our licensed sub-contractors to take on significant tasks of our business, such as estimates and ?ownership? of jobs. Michael Pagucci, with MP Handyman Services was one of our sub-contractors that I trusted to do business with. Based on our conversation, you were very unhappy with our dealings. I wasn?t readily available, MP Handyman Services also mis-communicated and you were extremely disgruntled with our estimate that was provided. I care very much about both professional and personal satisfaction and I?m writing to apologize for your experience. An estimate is just that ? it?s an estimate, which is expected to be reviewed and discussed. If unhappy with the estimate, it is your option to source other professional opinions. If the communication had been better at our end, I think this is something that could have been openly communicated, negotiated and worked out. I take complete responsibility for the mishaps, which was a transitional error at my end and I figured the least I could do, is, as stated above, offer you an apology and acknowledge our shortcomings that caused you distress. This is not how I do business nor a typical outcome for the relationships that I work hard to secure and please."
