Bob did a great job and was very easy to work with. He was patient and helpful ahead of the project working through logistics and helping me choose the right doors for the project. His work was well done, he was careful in doing the job right, and he was very clean. The final product looked great and we would work with Bob again.

We have had Phelan Construction do numerous house improvements for us over the years. Most recently it involved wood gutter repair, wood steps, railing, hanging screen doors, soffit and fascia repair, and painting. Previously Bob replaced siding on a large area of our house with new cedar siding. We have always been more than happy with Bob's work ethic, quality of work and overall pleasantness.

Bob Phalan is our go-to guy for every kind of home project. We’ve used him for years and keep a running list of projects for him involving carpentry, painting, roof and deck repair, power washing, gutter cleaning . . . basically just your all-around handyman projects. Reason we’ve stayed with him all these years is HE IS VERY RELIABLE. He shows up when he says he will, does quality work and cleans up like he was never here. Most of the time we have a clear idea of what we want done; but on several occasions, we’ve had a problem with no idea how to solve it; and Bob came up with what I thought was a brilliant solution—something I never would have thought of--and he implemented it. Plus, he is a very amiable guy, pleasant to have round, and extremely knowledgeable about materials, tools and processes. I’ve learned a lot from him. That said, we highly recommend him.

Bob Phalan is just what you're looking for in a contractor/handyman, he's quite a perfectionist. We've had Bob do numerous and varied projects for us that included painting, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, roofing and more, all done to our satisfaction. He shows up on time, works non-stop and leaves everything as clean as if he was never here. We highly recommend him.

Bob was awesome and it was a great experience overall. We had 2-3 days of work lined up, and Bob was punctual, communicated well and did a solid job. Mother Nature didn’t cooperate with us when it came time to setup the lattice work under the deck, but it didn’t matter. Bob setup an outdoor awning to let him continue the job to through very rough conditions, without any complaints. After the job, I received an email with a list of future repairs that we talked about, so we have a record for a later date. I look forward to hiring Bob again soon. His pricing was fair and he was very upfront about it all.

Bob was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive with an estimate. When we agreed on a starting date he showed up on time and always put in a full day’s work. He completed the job in a timely manner and completely cleaned the site prior to his exit. A true pro. I would definitely hire him again.

It took longer than anticipated due to the fact that Bob hadn't installed the Trex system before, but he was meticulous and careful, and the deck looks great and keeps the patio underneath dry so that we can enjoy it even in wet weather.
