Great. He's my "go to guy", whenever I need something fixed and I'm not able, or too scared to do it myself.

Bob was great to work with. He diagnosed the problem with a loose deck stair and rail and provided two solutions, a more expensive and less expensive one. He completed the work in a day. He also fixed a broken kitchen drawer slide.

He installed flush wooden floor grates into my wood floors. Did a great job! Great attention to detail, especially compared to some other people I've hired.

Bob did an excellent job on each part of my house that he fixed. I couldn't figure out the reason a window fell down and he made a small adjustment and it worked! Gutters and downspouts are secure now. He also adjusted the windows for air conditioners to fit and drain properly. He could fix anything that I needed to be fixed.

We enjoyed working with Bob this time as in the past. He is an efficient and very hard working craftsman. He work is very high quality and he knows what is needed to successfully complete a project.

Bob updated my master bath by adding some trim and paint to create faux wainscoting and painting the vanity. He also repaired two leaking toilets.

Bob is a very careful and efficient worker. We reviewed what needed to be accomplished upon his arrival, and then he got to it! He checked in periodically to be certain progress was going in the manner I requested. He offered suggestions; and was thoughtful in h s approach to his work. He was respectful of me and my home. Bob responded to my request the same day and was very flexible to us having to delay his work repeatedly as we waited for a dry streak this wet summer to finish something else first. Bob had the right equipment (55' lift) to get the jobs done while protecting roof. Work was high quality and Bob is easy to work with. Would definitely use again.

We hired Bob Phalan to replace the surrounding trim after we had installed new garage doors. He estimated 1½ days. But upon removal of the exist aluminum siding, structural damage including carpenter ant damage and a rusted-cracked lally column were discovered. Bob made required repairs replacing 2x4s, the lally column, plywood, insulation, wall board, and plastering. Then he was able to begin work on the vinyl trim. We showed Bob a photo of the “look” we wanted to achieve and he achieved it perfectly. He was at our home for 3 very long days, the cost of his work was very reasonable.

Bob is very detail oriented and worked hard. He works by the hour so it is important to me that he worked dilligently and smartly so that i was not wasting my money. he knew what he was doing with carpentry and did a thorough job. he had to match the flooring in a section and install it so that it fit visually with little to no seam which he did a great job on. For the cabinetry work he had good ideas on how to proceed and gave us several options. he is very experienced so he is perfect for problem solving a complex fix or project.

Bob did a fantastic job with our repairs. He was on time, professional, and meticulous about keeping everything clean. We will definitely use him again for future projects.

He took our lenghty repair list and took the time to go through item by item and explain the different options and price points for each repair/replace, then gave us his professional opinion on how to proceed. Working with Bob Phalan is great. He is very communicative and responsive. He clearly takes his work very seriously and cares a great deal about the final product and how your house looks. Bob worked on our project for several days, including through the weekend. He was always able to explain what he was doing and why. Our front door is apparently a weird size and he was able to figure out a way to get our storm door installed and looking really nice despite the somewhat odd measurements. He didn't just apply one coat to the front door. He analyzed the door to figure out what type of wood it was, sanded it down, applied primer, and then did the final paint and it looks very good. I will absolutely contact Bob Phalan again for projects around the house. He is very knowledgeable, reliable, hardworking, and capable.

Bob was easy to work with, and the work was excellent, which is everything you can hope for. Pre-work - Bob was easy to schedule, responsive, and upfront about costs and estimates. During the work - Bob explained what he was going to do and checked in a few times; After the work - Bob was efficient, and cleaned up, leaving the site better than when he arrived and it looks wonderful. Now I am looking around for other things that I have had on my to-do list to hire out :)

Bob was great to work with. He walked me through what materials I would need and was very responsive over all my various emails. He was able to come do the installation within days of when I was ready for it. He was communicative on arrival and timing and was punctual on the day of. He worked diligently while at our house and was able to finish up the job in one long day, despite quoting me for a day and half ahead of time. The doors are perfectly installed, open easily and look great (the paint job is mine and I need to finish up with the final touch paint, so don't judge that in the pictures below). I would definitely hire Bob again for any additional work I need done!

From the first email to the last nail, Bob was the best. It’s rare to find someone who cares so much about the work he does—Bob does. He not only took the time to do things right, he took the time to go over everything with us in detail. Bob replaced a handful of mahogany boards on our deck, installed two new light fixtures—bedroom and front porch— built a fence gate, repaired a broken stair baluster, installed a ceiling fan, replaced a rotted board on our shed, and gave us lots of advice and idea for future projects. The work took almost four days. Bob texted every morning to let us know when he’d arrive. He cleaned up as he went and at the end of each day. The project came to around $4,500. It was money well spent.

Bob Phalan is great. As senior citizens, we can no longer do some of the routine home maintenance jobs around the house. Bob will come by and help us with any job we need done no matter how small. He also recently installed a slider door for us which looks beautiful. His work is meticulous and high quality. We have been pleased with all the work he has done for us over the years. We highly recommend him.

Found Bob on Angie's List and he was amazing. Extremely thorough evaluation of concerns, prompt and meticulous attention to detail (even my neighbors commented on his work!). We will definitely consider Bob for future projects!
