Our experience with Phalan Construction was entirely positive. Bob replaced our front door and the trim. He is a skillful and meticulous carpenter and we are very happy with the work he did. He is also a good communicator and let us know what was going on every step of the way. We have already identified another project for him to do and we are happy to have found him.

Bob is a perfectionist. We had rotten exterior trims and sidings. There was water damage inside the wall too. Bob completely replaced all rotten parts inside and outside. It took longer than initially expected because Bob made sure that water would have no chance to get into the wall again. The trims and sidings now look completely water-proof. Thank you so much for your thorough job.

Bob is great and by far my favorite contractor. He is always on time, very resourceful and completes the work without any hiccups. For any project he provides and estimate and works efficiently to complete it. Most recently, he did a bunch of handy work around our rental property and most importantly worked to get rid of some mold we had in one of the bathrooms. The tenants loved his work!

Bob did everything just right. He answered my emails timely and provided ample detail as to how he works, his billing, and his schedule. Once we discussed the projects to be done, Bob let me know his availability. He texted the night before he was to arrive and then again in the morning. Once at my house, we walked through the projects, and he set to work. Bob brings a well stocked van so he never had to go back to the shop to get something. While working, Bob put down protect cloths and was very good at cleaning-up. Bob moved from project to project and did not waste time chatting. He moved quickly and efficiently. Never once did Bob try to up-sell me or push to expand my project list. Bob completed five projects in 1 1/2 days that would have taken me several weekends. I recommend Bob without reservation. I will have him back to tackle more projects soon.

The project went well, and Bob was a great person to work with. I was able to talk through the project and figure out the best plan with him. Throughout he was professional, careful, and thorough. He had great attention to detail and didn't leave any odds or ends unfinished. He was clearly ready for a range of jobs, and I would undoubtedly contact him again for other projects.

Multiple repairs were performed including ceiling tile replacement, deck board replacement, gutter and siding repair. Bob has broad range of skills. He is creative and can find a solution to any kind of repair work. He is thorough with his work. You would not regret hiring him for any project.

Periodically leaves and other debris build up around this skylight, and water infiltrates. Unfortunately it is in a location which I find too risky to access myself. Mr. Phalan, answered my call quickly, and was able come at a convenient time, fixed the problem and added additional caulking. I've used his services for many years, exterior and interior: carpentry, painting, wallboard, ice dam removal, waterproofing, you name it. He always does a great job. He's my "go to guy". I strongly recommend him.

Bob communicated very well, including explaining his pricing model, responding quickly to set up a date and time to do the work, texting me when he was on the way, etc. He did both small projects professionally, with great results. His hourly rate is on the high side, but he got a lot done in a few hours. I will be scheduling him to tackle a few additional small projects that I've been meaning to get to for a long time.
