 + -1 moreI sent a picture to Dan and he was amazingly responsive! Called me immediately, did more research and sent me an email within 24 hours telling me more about the problem. Turns out I didn't need any exterminating done -- he didn't need to come out but gave me lots of free advice. An amazing guy who is thorough and professional.
Description of Work: Found tiny bugs in my kitchen that no one could identify over the phone. They were so small that you had to stare at them and see them move to know they were bugs and not just dots. I needed to know what they were, what to do, etc.

 + -1 moreI was impressed by his tenacity, thoroughness, and skill, including the carpentry work!!! Thorough cleanup, polite; he explained all he was doing. I rent here so i don't pay for his services.
Description of Work: Steve came by and spent a couple hours . He checked mouse traps, investigated and closed possible entry points under/around kitchen cabinets, strove, refrigerator, even using a scope to go in the small places. He even removed the kicks under the cabinet (they close the gap between floor and cabinet bottom) and then replaced and recaulked as needed. Placed high-tech mouse bait, mouse traps, and copper mesh where needed. awesome job with attention to detail.

 + -1 moreThey did a great job. My company uses them, and we like how they are a local, family-owned business. I have used them in the past at my home to handle a carpenter ant issue, and they did a great job. This past weekend, we looked outside and noticed a wasp nest hanging from a tree. We called Pestex on Monday and they booked a time for Wednesday/Thursday. I came home from work yesterday (Wednesday) and the wasp nest was gone. Very reliable, very affordable - I would highly recommend Pestex.

 + -1 moreThe president of the company called to discuss my problem before the exterminators arrived. He explained the likely point of entry for the pests, their life cycles, how they would get rid of them, and how to guard against future invasions. The exterminators themselves were on time, and also made sure that I understood how the pests likely entered the house and what the exterminators were doing. I was pregnant at the time and appreciated that the company uses environmentally safe approaches as a first line of defense, using chemicals only as a last resort. Both the president and the lead exterminator on the job spoke to me about my pregnancy and the extermination process.
Description of Work: The company identified and got rid of pantry pests (grain beetles).
