They did a good job. They were very professional. They cleaned up any mess. I would do business with them again. They showed up on time. They were easy to get a hold of.

I made a request through their website to unplug a stopped toilet. I received a response the next day and arranged a date by phone for the plumber to visit. He arrived early in the time frame and used a snake to unstop the toilet. He suggested that toilets available now were much better and worked in an almost clog-free manner. There was absolutely no pressure on his part to purchase a new toilet, but given the fact that there's only one bathroom, I went ahead and set a date for the installation. The plumber came back, right at the time agreed upon, and removed the old toilet and installed the new one. He was very careful to place drop cloths down on the floors that led to the bathroom. He also wore covers over his shoes. He even cleaned dirt that was found on the floor and wall when the old toilet was removed. The new toilet looks and works great...perfectly installed. The plumber didn't leave any dirt or mess behind when he finished. I could have lived with the old toilet as Flaherty Plumbing had definitely cleared the clog but it seemed like a good opportunity to begin a modest bathroom remodel.

I called in the morning and was told that the next available appointment would be the next morning at 8 am but they would call me if they could squeeze me in that day instead. By mid afternoon they called to say that they could stop over in a half hour. John was great and I could not be more pleased.

It went okay, but they seem a bit over priced. We initially called them in to clear the shower drain. A week later, we had a leak coming through our ceiling and the shower drain was backing up again, so we called them in for both issues. This time they used a snake to clear the shower drain and that fixed the problem. The leak was caused by a different shower in which the person who installed the shower had not welded the drain properly. The plumber also claimed that the shower pan was not even and so water was leaking from a corner. We had someone else from the company come later to give an estimate. He said they'd have to destroy our floor in the shower and replace the copper pan and estimated the work at $4,000 dollars. We decided to get a second opinion from another plumber.

Made calls to several plumbers looking for someone that could come the next day. Left messages for the others, but got an instant live voice at Flaherty. The next morning at 8 a.m, the plumber was there. He explained the process every step of the way. He even left detailed notes on tags for the landscaper telling them how to properly winterize the system using the newly installed valve. I was very pleased with the responsiveness, professionalism and quality of the work.

He was great! We had a new valve that we tried installing on our own, but we were having trouble because the old valve was on pretty tight. He showed me what would have to be done to use our replacement valve, and also explained what it would cost (time, labor, and additional parts). He gave me another option that was less timely and much less expensive. While repairing the valve he noticed that we were using rubber hoses for the washer, and suggested we swap them out for a sturdier brand he had with him in his van. He explained the pros and cons of keeping our rubber hoses and was also very clear on the additional cost and time associated with making the change.

My general contractor abandoned the job right after demolition, leaving me with four gutted bathrooms and a gutted playroom, living in the house. The general contractor took my deposit and most subcontractors with him. Flaherty stepped in to the rescue on hourly to finish the job. With no general contractor on the job and one bad experience already, I needed a plumber I could trust and they have been my plumbers for years. Other professionals on the job site remarked that Brian Scott, who did most of the plumbing, was the best plumber they'd ever worked with.

Prior to the appointment, a representative spent a good amount of time with me on the phone to give me a rough idea of what the job would cost. They also advised me with regard to scheduling as I was trying to coordinate multiple vendors (contractor, counter installation people & the plumber). They were very punctual. The work was competed in a reasonable amount of time. Everything works. They didn't leave a mess. When I called with a question after they were gone, they answered it promptly.

A blocked drain prompted my search on Angie's List. The drain would not open when the pole was pushed down so although the exterior processes seemed to function, the drain wouldn't open. It turned out to be a hair clog that they were able to clear. The work was done quickly and neatly. The toilet maintenance was routine replacement of the parts forming tight seals in the tank - again routine. The very pleasant surprise was that we asked them to assess the source of a leak in my whirlpool tub that has been broken for over 3 years! Another plumbing service (Major franchise) had rather vaguely indicated the area of the leak but said they wouldn't do that type of work. I struggled to identify who would do the work and even consulted the appliance store and the factory who made the motor. It turns out to be a cracked motor and a broken seal and the parts are on order. If I have any problems with the install I'll update the site.

Very well. Did work they said at cost that was estimated. Had to remove soffit and do the work behind paneling. This was done and soffit replaced with out damage.

I am very pleased with the job that was done to my home. The repairman was very courteous and careful in doing his work. I also liked how he explained the problems and the project in detail.

I was very pleased with the professionalism of the office and the engineers. They called to inform me of the arrival time in the morning of the appointment and when Jesse arrived he was very pleasant and efficient. I have decided to have them replace the toilet and piping under the sink in a week and a half. I will report on that visit also.

Paul Flaherty representatives Jesse and Jeff have been to our house for numerous, unrelated plumbing issues since we moved into our house six months ago. We called the Saturday we moved in, because we noticed that the Sump pump outflow pipe had been knocked down, and the pumped water was flooding the foundation. They did a quick fix for the immediate Saturday, and then scheduled to do the work on Monday. They did not charge us the Emergency fee. My husband broke the toilet by tinkering with it, and when it flooded, he shut the water off, which then caused a valve to leak in our basement. Jesse came over the same day to help us fix it. Lastly, our hot water heater was leaking sporadically. We called the Emergency Number, and they called us right back and gave us a quick fix so that we did not have to pay the emergency fee. Jeff came over, gave us several options, and ended up replacing the heater. He also noticed that we had a pressure problem and fixed it on the spot.

The job was scheduled at a convenient time for me, he arrived when expected and was polite, covered his shoes before entering my home and seemed knowledgeable regarding the problems identified. My only complaint was that the clock was running while he ran out for a minor item not on his truck.

They earned very high points when a Christmas eve, two years ago. Our water heater started leaking (a lot). This was the day about 7 relative were coming and spending the weekend. When I described the situation, they got someone out to our house that early evening and did a temporary fix until they could replace the heater. When the temporary fix broke again sooner than they expected after that weekend, they came to replace the heater that day and did not charge for the initial temporary work which saved the day. They are very prompt, courteous and professional.

I AM VERY PLEASED AND I WOULD USE HIM AGAIN.
