ONYX MARBLE & GRANITE

We are repeat customers of Onyx. They provided a similar counter top and back splash for a 1/2 bath downstairs several years ago. We loved their services then so we wanted to go back. We were always treated in a professional manner by the staff; both in their store and during installation at our home. The quality and selection of their products is quite good; we were quickly able to find two slabs (for the two baths) that worked with our color schemes. While we could have purchased a sink from them, we decided to provide our own sink purchased from another vendor. Onxy was able to take each sink and cut the correct hole and under mount it when the counter top was installed. We are very pleased with the results. We expect to purchase another granite counter top from Onyx when we renovated the last bath.

On time and on budge. Excellent job done. No complaints.

This was the only company willing to attempt a difficult repair of a thin marble backsplash of an antique Dutch cabinet. What was required was to split a thicker slab of marble. Today marble slabs only come in 3/4" slabs and the piece required a thickness of half that. They offered to do the cut and it worked! I was very happy with their service.

They installed quartz counter tops and sinks in master bathroom.

Outstanding. 1) Pricing on their remnants is reasonable, other places wanted to charge more for higher end remnants. Remnants are the only sensible choice for small projects like vanities and we had 2 vanities. 2) Pricing on whole slabs was at least as good as everyone else, if not better. 3) Doing their estimate they foresaw issues that would arise during installation, none of the other estimators picked up on potential issues. They also had good design ideas during the estimation process that no one else had. 4) There were as on time as could be reasonably expected. There was a bad snowstorm on the day of installation which delayed them, but they still showed up and got the job done. The other estimates we had were much more expensive and they didn't inspire me with confidence that they cared about their workmanship.

It was an excellent experience. They were easy to work with, understood by concerned and time frame. They explained what they were doing as they worked.

Everything went well from beginning to end from their end. The craftmanship is excellent. I had to have them come back to drill more faucet holes because the first faucet I purchased wasn't going to work—my fault, not theirs. They graciously scheduled the work and completed it.

The installers came on time quickly installed counter top and were finished in about one hour. Also showed me how to clean new stainless steel sink.

Onyx was recommended to us by our contractor who has done a lot of work with them. They were great to work with and had very competitive pricing. Michelle helped us pick out our granite and gave us very good suggestions. We also bought a new stainless sink from them at a much better price than the junky ones at Home Depot. The installation went well. They were very responsive when we asked them to come back and smooth out one of the corners. It did take a couple of phone calls though to get a sample that we had asked for and they were quite late showing up for the installation. But we would definitely do business with them again and would recommend them to others.

The company was extremely helpful. I walked into the showroom and was able to work with someone right away. We chose a slab within my price range. The installation went smoothly and on-time. Clean and professional and an excellent job.

My husband and I decided to visit Onyx Marble & Granite to look at the samples. We met up with Michelle and she was so helpful. She worked with us to identify some possible remnants we could use (to save money) and also shared other options. She created quotes for the options and provided us with granite samples. We ultimately decided to go with a wood countertop, but we would definitely recommend this company as they were very nice to work with.

From start to finish they were very knowledgeable and responsive to my needs and interests. They did a professional installation. They notified me of a problem and then corrected it. Their pricing is very competitive. I would highly recommend them for their services.

Talking about great Service! Call Onyx and let them know that we were having a once in a lifetime event happening at my house and I needed to have the counter tops replace to show off to friends and family, not only did they get the project done on time but they were helpful, very nice and understanding on what I was looking for, they offered suggestion on color of stone based on my cabinet colors but never felt push into buying something I didn?t want. I?m also very impressed with their showroom! They have lots of variety of products with the perfect lighting to booth! I would definitely recommend them to friends and use them again when time comes to remodel our bathroom.

There is no one that knows more about fabricating granite than Onyx. It is a family owned business and they were extremely knowledgeable, professional and easy to deal with. Their prices were very reasonable as well. They directed me to the right wholesalers to find my granite, and then guided me through the whole process step by step. They had very useful ideas and suggestions, and their whole crew were very knowledgeable and professional.

They were super nice, not at all snobby about it being a relatively small job for them. very very responsive, also recommended to us by a contractor we had worked with previously, in addition to the Angie's List ratings we saw. They recommended a plumber, flooring/tile company, and electrician to us. We did go with the first two; we thought that the electrician's price was far too high, so we went with a company we had used previously instead. Definitely happy with onyx, we would absolutely recommend them and use them again in the future (when we redo our bathroom countertops for example).

Michelle was great helping pick something out. But never told me the honed granite I picked could not have a drink placed o it because it would stain. I found this out when the men installed it. I was not happy to learn that at that time. UPDATE I found out that the person who originally told me that the granite would stain was incorrect, and he is no longer with the company. I have been assured of the quality of the product and that it will not stain. Michelle has called me several times to make sure I was happy with everything. I have received many compliments on my granite from my friends.

I have worked professionally with all types of construction contractors over the past 30 years. I never worked with a company any better than Onyx. They really know their business, are totally customer focused, extremely helpful, very patient, very responsive, provide excellent advise, are straight forward and honest, have competitive prices, and are really nice people to work with. They guided us through the selection process and gave us many quotes on various granites overs several weeks. They were right on time when they came to measure and when they came to install. They went out of their way to make the L shaped piece out of one piece of granite so there would be no seam. The quality of the work was very good and they cleaned up completely after the installation. I choose a porous granite and they told me it was important to seal it well. They put on two coats initially, but when I told them water still penetrated and made dark spots they came out two more times (at no charge) to reseal to insure it would not stain. Between coats a small stain appeared and they gave me a stain remover (would not let me pay for it) and it took the stain out. This is the company you want to buy your counter from.

Onyx was very professional, responsive, and on time. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others. It was hard to find a company that was willing to do this type of repair so I appreciate their responsiveness.
