Kept driveway clean during snowstorms

Very well. The work was high quality, creative & artistic, and was completed on schedule and budget. He searched out the best prices for some of the materials. We've received compliments from our neighbors on the front walk and porch work.

I am very happy with the job since I was short of matching bricks and Mr Santos and his crew were able to make a plan that would save some bricks and not change the look of my curving walkway.. It looks new.

Mr. Santos was a pleasure to work with, as were his staff. He designed a safe and economical solution for our front steps that can easily be upgraded/customized in the future, should we want to make it fancier. The work was done promptly and efficiently and we are very pleased with the result. We hope to use Masonry and More for several projects in the future. Highly recommended!

He's always punctual, responsible, and polite. His crew always cleans up after themselves. He is easy to communicate with. When I accidentally messed up the date that I needed the work done, he worked very hard to make sure it was all completed in time. He went above and beyond.

We were very pleased with Masonry and More. They re-did our stone retaining walls, walkway and front steps. Cartegiane, the owner, was very professional from the beginning and all throughout the process. We had numerous quotes for the job and his was the best by far. He worked with us throughout the process as well, to stay in budget. The other two masons that came each day to work on the job were incredibly hard working, friendly and a pleasure to have at our home each day. Neighbors have commented to us that they worked long hours each day, barely taking a break at all (as we were at work most days they were here). Our steps, walkway and walls now look beautiful and we have received many compliments on the work.I highly recommend Masonry and More!

He is always one time, speaks excellent English. Very polite and courteous and I would recommend him.

Everyone else I called said the job was too small, or they'd have to charge me their flate rate of $450 for what they acknowledged to be only a 30-minute job. One other person I called tried to tell me over the phone what supplies to buy and how to do it myself (if I had the tools and skills, would I be calling a contractor?). Cartegian acknowledged that it was a small job, and that it was about to be his busy season, but that he'd be happy to fit me in to the end of one of his days. We had a little back and forth and miscommunication about what day he was coming, but once we straightened that out, he called before he headed over, was polite, and had neatly finished the job in no time.

I wish that I had contacted Cartegiane and Masonry & More sooner, as a preventive measure, before my roof started leaking, but we had never had problems prior to this winter! When I did notice a leak and left him a message based on reviews here, i received a very prompt reply. He did let me know that he was booked up for several days and did encourage me to try a few other places if I needed someone to come out sooner. I did make a few calls, but the other price quotes that I received were outrageous and some of the competition insisted on an answer on the spot. I called Cartegiane back the next day ( a Friday), he came to the house on Saturday to evaluate the job and discuss how to best address the issues while staying within our budget. He and his crew came on Tuesday to do the work. Even though this took place during a very busy time when practically everyone was having snow and ice issues, Cartergiene was always very prompt in his responses and in fitting us into his schedule. I would certainly recommend him and if I ever have ice dams again, I will not wait until my roof starts leaking before I give him a call!

Cartegiane and his team did a really great job for us this season. The snow was especially tough all through February. We had an upfront agreement to plow our driveway and shovel our walkway because we could no longer do this ourselves. We really appreciate their responsiveness, reliability, and professionalism. We recommend their services, and because of the great job they did for us, we will also consider them for their masonry work as well.

Mr Santos and his crew arrived right on time and went to work clearing the epic amount of snow from our roof. They spent most of the day here working on the snow removal and did a fine job. We literally had tons of snow taken off the roof. They then hacked two channnels to allow water to escape from existing ice dams that had formed.

Cartegiane Santos was fantastic!! He was very responsive, courteous, prompt in responding to my request and coming to our help. Masonry & More went above and beyond by clearing up ice dams, sectioning off areas of ice too large/dangerous to throw off the roof, and providing recommendations for how to remedy additional problems. I highly recommend them!!

Cartegiane Santos was great to work with -- he returned calls and emails in a timely manner and he did the work "between" big storms. While pricey, I understand that the cost was in part due to the danger involved with this kind of work. My husband and I had done further reading about ice dams and assembled what we called "ice melt sausages" to place on the roof near the gutters, and Cartegiane placed these for us so my husband did not have to. We got another 12-15 inches of snow overnight that night; if Cartegiane had not cleaned the roof that day, we might very well have suffered a major roof problem. If this winter weather does not cease and desist soon, we will have to call him to shovel the roof again.

Did a really great job. They came out the same day after several attempts to reach different providers. They will be taking care of all my snow removal needs moving forward.

After Snowpocalypse 2015, I was worried we'd be stuck in our house for days. I found Cartegiane via Angie's List and called, since his business address was listed as being near my house. I called him and he picked up quickly and informed me he could be at our house "in about an hour", as he was out on another call. He showed up early, took the time to make sure he understood the job and what I wanted done, and completed it quickly and efficiently. The price was VERY reasonable based on the work. I would happily recommend Masonry & More and look forward to working with them again.

The work was done while I was away. I got a call telling me it was done and that it took less time than expected. As a result, I was charged $200 less than the original quote. His honesty is refreshing. I will use him again. They provide a wide variety of services.

Job went perfect, Cartegiane and his helper were there when they said they would be and we could not be more pleased with the Professional work that was performed, they went above what they were asked to do originally on this job for a very reasonable fee and built onsite new railing's and painted them too, we would recommend Masonry and More wihout a question, clean and neat job well done!

Beautifully! This project took nearly a week to accomplish. Owner, Cartegiane, was prompt, thorough, and went out of his way to ensure that we were pleased with the final result. From the initial estimate, to starting the project, through until completion, he, and or his helper, were at our house when the weather was conducive to working. A pleasure to work with, we would have him back in a heartbeat if we had other work to be done.

Cartegiane was able to meet our aggressive timeline and the finished product looks great! He was very knowlegeable and provided us with product brochures so that we could pick out the materials that we wanted to use. After removing the patio and steps he ensured that there weren't any issues with the house before installing the new steps and patio. Cartegiane's prices were very competitive and we will definitly use Masonry and More for any future masonry projects.
