Julio was great to work with! He was professional, on time and communicated very well throughout the project. He was also very accommodating and willing to fix a couple of random things in the house. I will definitely work with him again.

Julio is our family's go-to painter. He has worked for us multiple times - most recently, to help us prepare our former home for sale. Julio is hard working, on time, well-priced, trustworthy, and excellent at what he does.

Julio was very quick to come out and provide me with an estimate. His estimate was competitive with others I had quote, and he was able to quickly schedule the work. The work was completed very timely. His employees were very nice, and they cleaned up very nicely when they were done. I will definitely have JBL Painting back out again for more painting work!

Julio was friendly, polite, and very responsive for a quote and then to begin work drywalling and spackling. He did not finish within the amount of time he predicted so he may have underestimated the job as a whole. If there is any painting I need done in the future I will gladly consider hiring him again!

Julio came promptly to evaluate the job and had a proposal to us by email the next day. His price was fair, his work excellent. He's a hard worker, very quiet in the house, cleaned up after he finished, was able to commence the work quickly and completed the job on schedule. What more could you want? If only all contractors were so responsive and responsible. We give him our highest recommendation!

I booked JBL to paint a rental home in between tenants. The schedule was tight and when I went to check on it two days after it was supposed to start, I realized that I had accidentally given them the wrong dates, so nothing had been done. I called in a panic and Julio was there within a couple of hours. He arranged the work to get done in the next couple of days, saving me a huge problem of not having the home ready for people to move into. I was bracing for him to revise my quote based on the last minute rush (over a weekend) but he honored the original estimate. Not only was Julio supremely professional and caring of my situation, he (and his team) did a great job painting. My new tenant moved in and was very pleased with the painting and how they cleaned up after themselves. I wouldn't hesitate hiring JBL again and I am now looking towards other exterior work being done in the coming months. I would recommend him to my friends in a heartbeat.

This review is so overdue, all apologies. We had worked with Julio for several years before he painted our house, so we knew his work was flawless. Julio painted the entire house including eaves and trim using three different colors. He worked in intense heat, one of the hottest summers in recent years. He also managed to accommodate our schedule to sell our house and get the house photographed for the sale. His work is impeccable. After years of painting the interior of our house ourselves, we decided to start contracting the work out. We went through two other paint companies before we met Julio at JBL. He always worked quietly and left his work space tidy and clean. When we decided to paint our house, we had no worries that it would turn out beautiful. We were more concerned with the outlay of money, but Julio's price was so competitive that it made it hard for us to not take advantage of. Our gamble paid off; we sold our house in nine days. Our only regret is that we didn't let Julio paint the exterior sooner. It turned out fantastic.

He charged $1700 for four rooms including all the supplies. He did his job quietly and cleaned up well after every day. The quality of the paintjob was as good as I expected.

The previous owners of our house had painted over wallpaper (2 layers in some rooms) and the seams had become visible in some areas. Instead of adding an additional layer of paint we decided to have the walls in two rooms stripped, patched and sanded. I originally had started the process myself using both the gel wallpaper remover and steamer but the process was too much for me to handle in the small amount of time I had. I decided to contact Julio and he responded to the message I sent to him via Angie's list within hours. He came out to the house with very little notice and was able to provide a reasonable estimate for both rooms. Julio and one of his employees were at our house that same weekend and were able to get the job done in about 15 hours (1 day of stripping and the other day patching and sanding). Julio knew that we planned on using one of the rooms as a nursery so he was trying to get the job done for us as soon as possible. The walls were are as smooth as can be and are ready for me to paint and prime. I would highly recommend JBL painting and plan on using them again in the near future.

Julio was the only contractor who did both drywall and painting. His price for doing both came in around what others wanted for painting only. His was on time and did a great job. Having him back to do tile work in our kitchen. Great service.

It went very well. We were pleased with his work. He finished it in a reasonable time frame and was always neat and tidy. He was reliable, he showed up when he said he would and he told us when he couldn't make it due to Jury Duty or something, I don't remember what it was. He was friendly. He had two different assistants on different days. One assistant on one day and another assistant on another day. Some days he worked alone. He was very thorough. He made suggestions. He wasn't offended if I didn't take him up on it. I would highly recommend him. I know a friend of mine also used him and she has used him for subsequent jobs. She is also very pleased with him.

Great Company! Will never use another company other than JBL Painting for our interior painting. They do a wonderful job and very quick. Our entire bedroom was done in 1 day! The wall is so smooth you could never for a second tell there was ever 30 year old wallpaper on it. We have used them for our Dining Room and Guest Room, and now a second bedroom. The dining room had floor to ceiling mirrors on 1 entire wall that they removed. It also had built in record players and they were able to remove them and path the 15"x15" hole in the wall. They do amazing work and clean up after they are done. The owner took his shoes off before walking in the house which I found very polite and respectful to my newly refinished hardwood floors in my hallway. Thank you for the great work and keep it up! We have one more bedroom to go so you know who we will be calling.

JBL did a great job of painting the exterior of my house. Thorough and very professional.

The price was a little higher than I expected -- but I could not find anyone else who would do a "small job". Overall the job was fine and the painting was good, but the owner had to keep a close eye on his assistant work man because he did not finish the job as instructed. When his boss checked and found out he had not finished, he sent him back to complete the job. Since the job was done last year, I can not give an exact price for Angie's List.

They were a bit pricy and not very neat. They got quite a bit of paint of the floor. But they great about meeting my aggressive timeline.

Never heard from him for an estimate on painting.

Julio Garcia came to my house promptly when I called and he quickly emailed a proposal to spray paint 24 doors and 7 drawer fronts for $1780, including materials ($1602 after Angie's List discount) with the work to be done off site. He wanted an additional $1600 to paint the frames as well. I decided to paint the frames myself. I gave him an A for price but I don't really have any comparison because he doesn't seem to have much competition for spray painting. The improvement in the appearance of my cabinets is well worh $1600 to me. After I accepted the proposal, Julio and his crew of 2 nice and hard working guys named Ely and Sergio came to my house promptly to remove the doors and drawer fronts and gave me an estimated time for completion of about 2 weeks. Julio told me he had to be away for a few weeks on a family matter but that his crew were well qualified to do the work without him. Ely and Sergio returned to reinstall the finished doors within the estimated time frame. They looked great with the exception of a couple of minor flaws that they were very cooperative about fixing. When I later noticed a couple of other minor imperfections, they returned again to fix them. They assured me they wouldn't abandon me until I was totally satisfied with their work. I would definitely recommend JBL Painting for any interior or exterior painting.

One word: Amazing! The interior of our house looks great now! Julio is great to work with. He'll work long hours if you let him! His guys are punctual and good workers. He turned around a lot of work in one week and it came out great! When it comes time to do the bedrooms / bathroom, I'm going to have them back!

All was professionally done and I am very happy with the results. I am hiring him to redo one of my baths next.

Highly recommend!!! Julio and his team did an excellent job on our basement - it looks amazing! Julio came out immediately to give us an estimate (which he then emailed to us). And then he was willing to come back in a few days to do the painting. He reached out to use to find out the paint color we wanted and delivered exactly the right color as we had requested. He was punctual and polite and the quality of the work is excellent. We are thrilled with the work he and his team does and will definitely hire him again!

I've been putting off getting the house painted while some roofing work was done and it was getting late in the season (especially after Irene). I contacted Julio @ JBL and he got back to me the next day. He wrote up an estimate (including some repair work on my garage trim) and we set up a start date a couple of weeks later. It's been rainy the last month and I was sure we would lose some days to rain (and we did), but Julio and and his crew were in early each morning and worked around the weather. Everything was stowed away neatly when they left at night. When they were completely done, there was nothing left on the grounds. The garage turned out nice and they fixed a loose panel in the roof eaves. Julio and his team met all of my expectations for the job.

He's painted everything! He even did some minor carpentry. His carpenter did some good work on our deck, but the door they installed didn't work well. Stick with the painting and he'll do a great job. Keep carpentry minor.

We needed the house to be sanded down to the wood then primed and repainted. We also had some carpentry work to do. They worked hard all day and some days worked long hours We are very pleased with the results, and would use them again
