Description of Work: Ordered mulch via phone after visiting website. Howard's described the types and offered to bring leave samples at my house as I couldn't make to site to view/sample. As I was sure I wanted a particular type (black mulch), ordered it without the samples. We discussed delivery (ie mutually convenient for both parties) and price all over the phone. Delivery on time as promised, excellent quality of mulch. Advice was provided how how to "care" for the pile of mulch if I couldn't spread in a few days. Looks great!

Description of Work: I stopped by Howard's on Route 9 to order five yards of mulch. They were very polite and showed me the different choices available. They were willing to deliver the mulch the next day but recommended against it because of an impending rainstorm. They delivered it on the following day, and i am glad that I took their advice to wait a day. I also added three yards to my order based on the size of my yard. The mulch was very high quality, and their price was quite reasonable.

+ -1 moreGreat. We've been going to Howard's for years now and he sells very high quality mulch (also topsoil, gravel, sheds). He's a very nice and friendly person to work with. He always delivery a bit more than you expect.
Description of Work: We bought ~ 2.5 yards of hemlock mulch. Howard does delivery but we prefer to drive our trailer to his location and he loads it.
