I purchased the Garage Door Tune-Up and renewed my Angie's List membership at the same time, thereby getting a discount with both places. When I called Door Systems, Priscilla was extremely courteous and knowledgable. I was concerned I would have to wait a while because so many people had responded to the promotion, but I was able to schedule the tune-up within 3 days of my call. The morning of the service, they called as they said they would - between 8 and 9am to tell me when they'd be there. The techs were there for about 1/2 hour and found I needed to replace a gear kit and sprocket. The door still squeaked but they said, over time, it would stop. A few days later, we noticed that the rubber strip at the bottom of the door was hanging off and the squeak had not disappeared. It had not been that way before the techs came, so I called. I talked to Priscilla again and explained the situation. She was fantastic. She took detailed notes, which were documented on my Service order so that the techs could read what I had conveyed to her. When Doug came out, he took the time to investigate the squeak and discovered a small bearing needed changing out. Door Systems only charged me to replace the part - no additional labor. They clearly value their customers. What incredible customer service. I will gladly recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic. Gregg arrived right on time, explained what he saw and recommended. In no time the doors were running better than they ever have. Gregg pointed out some rotting and water damage on the bottom of the doors and recommended that the lower sections be replaced. I would recommend them for anyone needing work on their garage doors.

I had purchased the Angies List coupons for the garage doors. I did not call them but they called me and scheduled an appointment. Then they came out that week or few days later. The coupon was for two knocks and they all the points under those two knocks and there were couple of other things that I pointed out to them that were not included. They were pretty upfront about paying extra charges, which I appreciated. Then they told me the extra charges were in line with what the representative or technician had quoted me on site. There was no pressure to do it. They would have just done the two knocks that I paid for. But they did the work that I wanted to have fixed and I was pleased to see that the charges were in line with what they quoted. The coupon was $79 for the two knocks and the additional things that they fixed came up to $85. The combined total was probably a little bit more than I could have found. But I was not going to call a million people and find them to do. I thought this was a more efficient way of doing even if it costs a little more. They were very fast. They were beyond quick. They came a few minutes late and apologized as soon as they arrived. When they fixed the appointment they said that I didn’t need to be home at that time as long as they can get into the garage. That wasn’t a big offer for me now that I work out of the home office but getting home for appointment can be a real pain in the neck so it was nice to have that option of not being home if I needed it.

Overall, it went "OK" (not fabulous, but acceptably well). The not so good: The garage door panels appear to be from different paint dye lots. The difference is slight; I mentioned it to them once, and they didn't respond, and I dropped it...so my bad if it drives me crazy now. Still, I mention it here because checking dye lots would be within their control, not mine. More importantly, the garage door made crashing noises for about a month. When I called and complained they scheduled a re-vist that seems to have fixed it...but I'm not gonna lie, I don't know why the doors started crashing after installation, (changes from weather? too loose? too tight?) and I don't know if the repair will be temporary or permanent. The good: Overall, the installer was very clean and courteous, the doors have the features we needed, the openers work, the door insulation seems good, and I was taught the features of the system in an expert and kindly manner. I said I'd use them again on the toggle switch above...since there was no switch for maybe...so, maybe....

They came when promised. Did everything fast and well.

I was happy with the experience - they were prompt in returning my phone call, quoted a reasonable rate (then stuck to it), and did good work.

I went to the Door Systems showroom in Framingham. (Many garage door installers do not have a showroom and work only from samples, so being able to see actual "door-size samples" was very helpful.) After a brief wait I discussed my garage door situation with a very knowledgeable salesperson. The saleperson reviewed the different door options. That salesperson came to my house the next day to evaluate the re-framing situation and to measure for new doors. The salesman wrote up the specifications for my order while he was at my house. After reviewing the specifications for a day, I decided on some changes. The salesperson reviewed the change requests which I had emailed and emailed back a revised proposal. I accepted it via email. The proposal said that they would need five to six weeks for the custom-sized doors to be fabricated by the door manufacturer. The new doors were installed five weeks after I accepted the proposal. Door Systems did what they proposed, in the time-frame and for the cost they proposed. So far so good with our new doors. (While I talked with four garage door companies in total, only one other would do the entrance reframing, I had a lot more confidence in Door Systems than in the other company,) I am very happy with the job, the price and the overall experience.

They met all our expectations, as the ratings show. Henry Schubert, the sales rep. was excellent, and the installer was prompt, courteous, neat, and thorough. It all worked without any fuss. We were led to Door Systems, based on the report we read on Angie's List

The job went well overall. They were very reasonably priced and they repaired the damage. They fixed some other things as well and so they did more for the money. They did a good job. They originally installed the door and also had good ratings on Angieslist. It took longer for them to come than I expected.

I got a very thorough estimate from Steve (at least in comparison with the two others I also got). The quoted price was slightly higher than the other estimates even after the 5% discount Angie's List coupon; it should be noted that the coupon did not say anything about behind applicable only on materials but that is what Steve was only willing to apply it on. Another of my estimates had a similarly written Angie's list coupon and the discount was on the whole job total. I think that should be corrected on the coupon for Door Systems because it is misleading the customer. Scheduling the job necessitated some dancing around their schedule but when it was settled, the installer, Paul, came promptly at the scheduled time. Paul was an extremely knowledgeable and friendly person who did not seem to mind me being around the whole time, which I appreciated. It turns out that one of the old doors was not quite 'square' in that it had been trimmed to fit the uneven floor to look leveled. I guess the measurements that Steve took at estimate time did not highlight this fact. Paul installed the new doors leveled and square by adjusting the bottom weather seal. He mentioned that this could be temporary and that someone will come back when I have made the necessary adjustments to the concrete floor (by adding some concrete and leveling properly) presumably in the spring. Steve confirmed this to me two days later by email. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience with Door Systems Inc. so far.

DSI gave us a very reasonable price. When it was installed it only took about 2 hours and they were very professional.

It went very well. They called to confirm the time of the appointment, called again to let me know when the repair man was coming and he showed up on time. He worked quickly and checked both doors for any problems. It was quick, easy and the repair man was very perfessional. I would definitely use them again.

It went very smoothly. Two panels were slightly dented, which they replaced. They arrived on time, did the work, and responded quickly to all phone calls. We were very satisfied with their work. The other company who gave us an estimate cost less but would not have done the complete reframing of the doors.

Ron Gelais came out and was prompt, informative and friendly. He measured my door openings and provided me with receommendations. A few days later, Ron mailed and emailed me a proposal. The price for two steel R-16, vinyl Garaga doors with 4 windows at the top (internal panes), new rigging, new Garaga openers and external keypad was about $3,200.00 The price is a bit high, but Garaga makes the best door/opener on the market. The insulation value I chose is at the top, so this drives the price up. I could go with another company, but I am comfortable with Door Systems, and feel that they have the experience to do it right the first time. I plan on having the doors installed within a month and am confident that I will be very satisfied.

The work was very professional. Because the ceiling is very low, it was a challenge to fit a new opener into the existing track, but they succeeded without damaging the finished ceiling.

Person felt they had an extensive lineup. Most garage door companies point towards only wood and steal. Henry's demeanor was that they have it all.

It was great from start to finish. They were quick once we sent in the initial payment, their response time for scheduling was quick, they guy showed up on time, and he did a great job with the installation. So far there are no issues so it was definitely a good experience.

They were good. Pleasant to work with, but we decided not to get one.

They are available when I need them; it isn?t a long wait. This could have been an extensive thing but they guy knew exactly what to do so I felt like I wasn?t being ripped off.

Arrive on time, did the work, and it has functioned properly ever since.

We called for service and a tune up. I was thinking we would need a new opener. Tech showed up on time. All it took was a cleaning and some adjustments. Charge was $115 and it now seems like we have a brand new door and opener. Tech cleaned the area and the senors and it all looked brand new.

They promptly responded to appointments and showed up on time. They did get to the bottom of the troubles even though it took a while. The only thing I did not like as much was they kept sending different technicians and I had to explain the story over and over again. However, the door has been functioning fine since.

They were fast and efficient. They did what they said for the price they had quoted. If need be, then I would use their services in the future too.

Everything went very smoothly from quote to installation. I got exactly what I wanted in a timely manner and Al, the installer, was professional and thorough.
