He coordinate well to get the materials delivered, and arrived promptly to transport them to the project location. It was always easy to schedule things and get in contact with Larry. + -1 moreBEWARE!!! I hired him based on his rating as a Certified Pro with 5 star reviews. He is NOT registered as a Home Improvement Contractor as required in the state of Massachusetts but he attested to having the credentials to get the Certified Pro rating. His work on my deck was shoddy at best and has to be redone. The deposit he required exceeded the cost of materials and the 30% limit Massachusetts mandates. He tried to charge me for the estimate, travel time and inflated the labor completed. It was an expensive lesson. I found out there are many complaints against Angi. I will never trust Angi contractors again.

As first home owners, finding a good contractor isn't always easy and can be intimidating - but we feel we really lucked out with Larry. He also has a designer's eye and we felt that his vision for the home really matched with ours from the get-go. We'll definitely be recommending his services to friends and family, and we'll undoubtedly need his help ourselves again in the future!

Some of the staid were cracked and all were very noisy. Larry promised they would be very quiet when done. He kept that promise. The stairs are beautiful and very quiet. Description of Work: External painting of the house and trim (including glazing and painting the original windows) and porch door. Rebuilt the vertical wooden screens on the closed in porch. Replaced some clapboards. Added wood framing on the front of the house to add to the bungalow style. Repaired the lattice work on the bottom front of the house. Painted the garage. Stained front mahogany stairs and added mahogany wood coverings over the bottom 2 cement steps. Repaired and painted railings. Power washed the garage roof. Applied cement to hole between field stone foundation.

Description of Work: Larry was the best possible person for this job. We needed someone competent and kind and he delivered. It was a slightly complicated project as we had to wait for the raccoons to be fully evicted before starting the project and they had done significant damage in the meantime. Larry was patient and gave us a fair and comprehensive quote from the very beginning. He was concerned there may be rot in the rafter ends and added a stipulation in the quote if that was the case. He found no rot and subsequently the original quote is what we paid. I went over the project at the end and found one spot I wanted reinforced and he took a look, agreed, and fixed it promptly. Our house is now safe from wildlife! I have worked with many professionals as a homeowner and this was one of the best experiences I have had. He is knowledgeable and truly cares about the work, I would highly recommend his company.

There was an adjustment to the plumbing/electric charge because the job turned out to be more complicated than anticipated, but even including the additional charge, the total cost was very reasonable. Larry is a very careful worker who does high quality work. He is very thoughtful and ingenious at coming up with solutions. A couple of years ago he had rebuilt my deck and I hired him for this job based on the good work he did on the deck. The deck job was about $6k which was very substantially below any other estimate I received. I was a bit concerned because he was so much less expensive than other contractors, but the work was of very good quality and has held up well.
Description of Work: Moved a bathroom door and wall to move a washer dryer out of the bathroom; re-installed the washer dryer in a different location; arranged for plumbing and electrical to move the washer dryer. Some years ago they also rebuilt a rotted deck
