Old fluorescent fixtures were burning out bulbs frequently. Yarckin discovered a wiring problem that two previous electricians had not found, Repair work was done very quickly. Lights operate properly now.

Excellent service. Prompt response very professional. Have used DS Yarckin several time over the last few years for small and large projects would recommend this company for any one looking for residential Electrical work.

DS Yarckin arrived with two men on time. They were professional and pleasant. I proceeded to show them the electric box in the pool shed and describe the problem. They pressed on the breakers, and agreed that they were shorted. They asked me to go downstairs and shut off the pool breakers. When I returned they had already removed the panel and started work -- without any authorization or quoting an estimate. They identified the blown breakers, and claimed that they needed to go pick them up. After looking at what they pulled out, I found them to by Murray Brand -- extremely common. They can't have everything in their truck, so I agreed it was no problem. Including their trip to the supply house, meet and greet, rip out, and installation, it took them 1 hour. They went to the truck to "call in and get a price". When they returned, they quoted me 432.00. I immediately let them know that had they quoted me anything close to this, they never would have gotten the job. The man went back to the truck, and came back with a price of $320.00. Needing to go to work I just paid. FYI - The last time I'd had the work done by a Master electrician, I was charged 168.00. Needless to say, I've seen a "company policy" before, and this was one: Send the homeowner away and begin the work while he's gone. Then quote a high rate and see if he'll pay. When he quibbles, claim that it's company policy to send two people from their HQ to perform the work. As a result, I will never use this service again as I KNOW I was ripped off.

For the most part Dave and his crew did a nice job installing everything. However, the 2 major issues were the following: They installed different type of under cabinet lighting with different types of lights and therefore the lights have different lighting levels. This is highly noticeable. Secondly, someone in Yarckin's crew stole a new check from my checkbook and wrote out a check to himself for $3,000. I didn't discover this till a few weeks later when i got my check statement from the bank and it included the forfeited check. I filed a police report and informed the bank. An investigation proved that it was someone in Yarckin's crew. I wont use them again.

They are the best electricians we've ever used. There's a guy there, Nathan, who is so sweet. You can tell he is very excited about his job. You can tell he loves working with you by the way he acts toward you and the job. He is very helpful and responsive when scheduling appointments. He is so pleasant to work with, and he's outgoing. Overall they are a great company. I'm very pleased.

The man from this company was very friendly and careful in his work while we were renovated our house. The work he did was exceptional and trustworthy. I cannot recall the price, and it may have been a bit higher than some, but it was a deal for electrical work you can depend on.
