Clutter Clear

Eleanor was able to come at a time that was convenient for me and was very professional, helpful, kind and very good to deal with. She is a lovely person. The two of us worked on going through a section of my basement that had not been touched since I moved in many years ago. We pitched a good amount if stuff, I took a car load to our recycling center/giveaway area and the rest was categorized. We worked for 3 hours and made excellent progress. No stress. I answered "no" to "Would you use this company/individual again in the future" because I did not schedule another appointment. I made a good amount of progress and am continuing the job by myself for right now. There is no "maybe" option. When I searched for this service I hired two people and the other one hasn't come yet, so I really do not know about using this service again.

Eleanor sends a questionnaire prior to the first meeting and I, of course, procrastinated on it but it provided structure for my thinking about what I want the end result of organizing paperwork and work flow. Eleanor is a very calm, humorous person who helped guide me in the direction of getting things put away in permanent homes, getting rid of items I no longer use, recycling what we could. One particularly helpful service that Eleanor performs is to take items to be donated to charity and returns with a receipt for items donated. Her gentle questions about what I was using and not using helped me to think about whether I really did use items without a lot of guilt and shame attached. She was genuinely there to help me - not make judgments. I am very happy to recommend her and I continue to have her help me get rid of clutter and create a usable system for me to keep things in order. I recommend her highly!!!
