Good quality job.

The CP construction crew were very hard working and competent. Clod as the owner is extremely customer service oriented. He communicated with me throughout the permitting process, the build and the inspection process. The new deck and stairs look great and bring compliments from all the neighbors. I will definitely reach out to CP construction in the future.

The company did a great job preparing and painting my deck. I thought I needed to replace the deck steps and they told me that was unnecessary because the step integrity was fine. They were enthusiastic about their work, on time, and wanted to be sure I was happy with the result. I will use the company again.

The value for money from C.P. Construction and Carpentry outstanding. Any issues that I had as they were doing the work they quickly rectified. I would definitely recommend them for any sort of remodeling work. We had a complete tear down and rebuild of two bathrooms, with the addition of a shower in one. Everything worked out well. They also tiled the floor in our kitchen and took care of some wall reconstruction in our laundry area.

Very knowledgeable and honest during the entire process. Kept me posted even when there was any issues. Excellent attention to details and listens to you when you have questions or new ideas during the project. Clod is very professional, always available by phone call or text. They did an amazing job remodeling my basement from getting permits to Completing the work with the city signing off on the job. I m very happy with the finished job. The work is excellent and beautiful. I now have a cozy, functional and beautiful finished basement. I trust their work and would gladly recommend them and will personally use them again.

Clod delivered results better than I expected. He not only recommended what he thought would be best for my addition but, he also listened to what I wanted and made it happen. I wanted the 8x11 mudroom to feel larger than it was. He vaulted the ceiling. It came out very nice. I also asked him to copy the pitch of the existing roof to the addition. It came out very nice. The addition looks as if it was there from the beginning. So Happy. I already have plans for him to work on the next project in 2020. Couldn't be more happier.

Excellent work, reasonable price, nice to do business with.

We hired Clodo and crew to add a 2nd story room on top of our sun room. We already had plans, and had gone through an architect, and variance process. Clodo was prompt to come look at the project and get us a quote. He gave a good first impression and had a good (cheap) price. We decided to go with him. The project started great, they showed up and started working quickly. His crew worked hard and had the room framed within a week. Around this time Clodo informed us he would be taking a vacation to Brazil for 4 weeks, but not to worry his son would be in charge! He gave us his number in Brazil. Based on the progress they were making we had no reason to worry. Oh, how wrong we were. Once he left, work ground to a halt and his son seemed to have no authority to do anything. Soon, we were told they would need an advance to continue work and get the room water tight. We had no choice but to advance them money to get roofing and siding on the room. After that they stopped all work for 4-6 weeks. My husband had to remove all of the trash and debris from our yard, which they never bothered to come back to clean up. Every time we tried to contact his son to see what was going on we were told he needed to talk to his dad. We tried reaching Clodo but the number he gave us was unavailable. When we finally reached Clodo he informed us he was staying in Brazil for another 2 weeks, but assured us when he returned the job would be done quickly. That was a lie, once he returned things continued to drag on. We ended up going over his head and hiring our own electrician, this really angered him but if we waited for him to return from Brazil it would have added even more time to the project. Also, we trusted our electrician and got the electrical done for a lot cheaper than what Clodo quoted. At that point he admitted to us that he just adds $1000 onto the estimate for the electrician for himself. He seemed to have no clue how to get an inspection from the city. My husband literally had to contact the inspection office, schedule appointments, and correspond with the inspector. Once the inspection was complete work went slowly and very poorly. Another of his sons did the finish work. He is obviously not a carpenter and the trim work looks horrible, not level, trim falling off the wall, large messy globs of putty covering 1/4" gaps. Clodo himself worked on installing a pocket door and that is by far the worst part of the room. He did not make anything plumb, and as a result the door rubs against the frame. As another review said, he blamed us for many of their mistakes (including accusing us of outright lying), he claimed our old house was not square and that was the problem, but he built the room so it is as square as they made it. In the end we left several things half complete just to get rid of him, although he offered to fix it. We will eventually have to pay to have someone come and fix the finish work and the pocket door. Polite until work was complete. Took 13 weeks to complete project! Nothing was level, contractor claims due to old house but, everything was gutted to the studs. We told him and his crew multiple times that one specific wall was not level, he stated no problem..when my brother came by for a visit, he asked if our wall had scoliosis. After the repair of that wall, it looks better but, still wavy. The molding on the floor was not straight so, we asked him to put 1/4 round to cover the gaps. That obviously didn't mean it should be straight! I assume, I wasn't specific enough. Not sure if they used a level but, definitely noticeable about 1/2". Window sills are not the same on both sides, one is longer than the other.. he offered to fix but, at this point, I was completely done with them doing any additional work. You can see the seams in the ceiling and walls from the plastering. Please be sure to make sure that everything you discuss is on the contract because if not, you will end up like we did with additional costs. .we purchased a door (mind you, there is only one door in both our living room and dining rooms) and apparently when someone states on the contract, that they will replace the door sill, that apparently means it is for widening a wall that didn't have a door to begin with! Also, they put a large gouge in my floor and then attempted to blame us for it when they had done it by moving our wood look tile on top of our wood floor. He also wanted to charge me for electrical code work because who would think that you need a light switch when entering a room. .that would be stupid! If I had known all of this, I would have let my teenager do the work because the end result would have been about the same except I wouldn't have been cheated out of money. I don't like to bad mouth people but, i don't want anyone to go through what we did. Can provide pictures if needed.

This Company was wonderful! Anytime I had to reach Clodomiro Pereira for a question, I had his personal cell and could reach him at any time. His work and the work of his workers, was top quality. If I was not happy with anything, he would fix it and make it right. Very professional and awesome! I look forward to using this company for other projects in the near future. I would highly recommend this company. They are simply the best!
