Bright & Shiny Cleaning Serves Corp

Extremely disappointing. We had an emergency situation where new tenants were moving in and old tenants left the house a mess. It was July 3rd, so finding people was difficult. Agnaldo showed up with one other person to clean a 3,000 sq foot house. It became apparent that two people were not going to complete the task, so Agnaldo picked up some additional people. Overall 4 people spent about 3.5 hours in the house. We stressed the importance of several areas, specifically the kitchen floors and fridge. We were charged $440 dollars and they ran off with my cleaning supplies! 90% of what was "cleaned" had to be cleaned again. Quality was poor, obvious areas were completely missed or lazily glossed over. The fridge was just lazily wiped with water, all the sticky stains and odors were there. Simply bending down and looking under the cabinets one could easily observe dirt, dust and debris. After I complained to Agnaldo and explained how frustrated and sad I was that we had to spend an additional NINE hours cleaning the house, and that being charged $440 felt like we were just robbed. He seemed understanding and sympathetic and offered a partial refund. He promised to drop off the money on Thursday, but did not show up and did not call back. After I called him yet again, he apologized and promised the refund on Saturday. No refund, no return of my cleaning supplies, no phone calls. We were in a very tough bind and Agnaldo took advantage of us. We would not have minded the money if the quality was good, we would have even been happy if the refund that was promised was actually issued. No professionalism, no respect and no courtesy. It is absolutely appalling that people conduct business this way and we will be filing with the BBB as well.
