Affordable Tile and Grout

Ryan was very responsive and showed up when he said. The work was completed as scheduled and the job site was left clean each day. I have used Ryan several times over the years for small and medium sized jobs and have been very happy with his work. He does not need any direction and has the experience to make the tile job come out great.

We are very happy with Ryan and his work. He was punctual and responsive throughout the process. Ryan gave us a reasonable price quote before beginning of the job and he kept us apprised throughout the process. We also appreciated his attention to the small details as he was in our home -- putting down drop cloths to keep the work area clean, bringing us in at certain points to show us what he saw in the work area. Bottom line, should we need more tile work done, Ryan will be our first call. He does great work at a reasonable price and is a pleasure to work with. PS I wish there were a way to post photos with review so that you could see quality of his work.

Ryan came and re-grouted the tile in both bathrooms. He went above and beyond by ordering and matching tiles that he was unable to fix.

It went very well. Ryan arrived when he said he would, gave helpful suggestions, worked quickly and did very nice work.

Ryan was great. Highly communicative and responsive in all of our dealings. After some issues with out tile order, Ryan continued to return to ensure the that job was completed. Tile looks beautiful!

Ryan and John couldn't have done a better job, start to finish. Ran into some difficulty with an original swinging slab door, Ryan diagnosed the issue and advised on how to fix the hardware, stuck with us all the way through. Up front and honest about cost and timelines, impeccable attention to detail. Looking forward to hiring Ryan again, he's an expert craftsman and a good honest guy.

I wanted to start out by thanking Ryan for "SAVING" my bathroom remodeled job!! I contacted another provider (not on Angie's list so shame on me) that was supposed to come in October and at the last minute could not come because f a broken foot. We reschedule for December. However, he would not give a written estimate after asking for it repeatedly. As I grew angrier and more suspicious of not having what we discuss and price in writing, I decided to go with someone else. Mind you everything was purchased already tiles, grout, etc. and were sitting in my living room. I figured that this stuff will be at my house until the spring because everybody will be super busy for the holidays. This is when I found Ryan; from the first phone call he made me feel at ease. He came right over as his office is close by to my home. He was able to tell me what he could do and could not and what I would need to get from another provider. He took pity on me as he was taking a few days off for Thanks Giving and agreed to work on this project instead. It took 3 days to get everything done as it was a very old floor that was tough to get out. The floor looks amazing and he even came back after it was done and paid on his own time to make sure that the plumber "did not screw up the floor" putting back the toilet and to put some silicon at the base of the tub that could not be done while the grout was drying. Ryan and his assistant Jimmy were very pleasant to have in the house. They left things clean and picked up everyday after the job. He checked in as the project progress and did everything that he said he would and when he said he would do it and more! In addition to putting the floor I wanted the tile on the walls removed which he did leaving the wall intact and avoiding the cost and time to put new walls in; he even did a "rough skim of the walls" in preparation for the painter. I had discussions with Ryan about the tile pattern, grout color were he advised me but I feel that he was able to hear what I wantd, respect my decision and do exactly what I asked him to do. Ryan is definitely a very honorable provider, and sadly a rare breed in this world where doing the right thing for a fair price is the exception rather than the rule. We already discussed our next project as he is pretty booked already as you can imagine and I wanted to get mine in the queue; because anyone that works with him will want him back again. Beautiful, extremely professional job! The bathroom floor looks AWESOME and is actually the best part of the entire renovated bathroom. Ryan was very professional and helpful at all times, and also quick to respond to my emails and texts.

I had purchased tile that was incredibly difficult to install (and did not realize this until I had opened the box the day the work was due to begin). While onsite on 7/10/15, he stated the estimate would be emailed. On 7/28/15, I contacted him to inquire about the quote that had not been received to date. He stated that he had been out of work with an injury and would respond with quote in a few weeks. To date, no quote has been received. And based on his other reviews, I can conclude that his excuse for the delay was bogus.

Ryan Labbe installed a high end backsplash behind our sink, stove and refrigerator. He was pleasant and efficient and his pricing was VERY competitive. He arrived on schedule and finished the work right on time. We?ve had nothing but WOW comments on our kitchen since. Would highly recommend.

I contacted Affordable Tile and grouting because I was in the middle of having a job done and the guy took off before finishing. They were very quick to respond, almost immediately, and explained their availability etc. It turned out that the guy who had been doing the job showed up to finish it so I did not need to hire them after all. I have a few rental properties so often need to hire people. I find it's half the battle to get people to respond and show up so I was impressed with the quick response and its professionalism.

Since the very first day I contacted Ryan, he was very helpful and sincere. He was having a some family problems and he was very clear that he needed some time to complete the job. We were fine with that, but he always called when he said he'd do it and he and his helper were working hard to complete the job. Ryan did an excellent job designing and installing the tile floor. We are very happy with the result. Ryan even went to buy the tiles for us. We also have to replace the main bathroom floor, so we are calling Ryan to do it very soon.

He was very responsive to emails, calls and texts and had some good advice on how to fix some original issue we had from the shower. He made sure he came back after initial install to finish work properly.

Ryan did a great job installing a high end backspash in our kitchen. The work was very tedious and he did a nice job. He was pleasant to deal with. I will definitely use him again,

We hired Ryan to do a difficult tile repair at our house that was due from water penetrating into the wall. Ryan replaced the backboard, installed new tile and put in new insulation for us. Ryan showed up on time and worked hard to get the job done on time for us and also gave us a reasonable price. He was very professional throughout the job. He made a special design in the tile that looked really good and will make our bathroom standout when other people view it. We were very impressed by the quality of work for the job and his communication and professionalism throughout the process. We would highly recommend Ryan for your tile and grout projects. You will be exceedingly pleased with the work he does!!!

The tiles on our shower walls were falling out and the dry wall needed replacing. We were under a deadline because we had guests coming to stay with us for a week and needed a functioning shower for them. Ryan was already working on another job but committed to doing the job if he could work an evening during the week and through the weekend. He really worked hard to get this done for us and he finished it right on time. The old tile was yellow and we agreed to replace it with white. I just wanted to have it fixed and really wasn't thinking long term. Ryan suggested that we add a border of black and gray glass tiles near the top and then we could have the tub refinished in white. The border made all the difference and we are really happy with the result. Now we have an upgraded bathroom, not a quick tile repair.

Ryan was easy to work with, gave us great ideas, and did and excellent job. He came back on a Sunday morning to help with outlet covers that I couldn't get back on. I wish I was tech savvy enough to post some pictures of the completed project.

Ryan was very responsive to my inquiry - he came by to assess the job and quoted a fair price. The day before our install Ryan came by to look at the tiles we purchased and discuss the design of the work. Our project was a challenge as he needed to work around partially installed Mexican tile that we wanted to keep. His suggestions were excellent and we love the finished product.

Ryan is fantastic! He responded to my initial inquiry within minutes and after sending him a few pictures, he sent a quote that was much less than a quote I received from a different company. He responded promptly to emails prior to the scheduled work date and called me the night before to let me know that the actual cost would be about $50 dollars more because he needed to get a few more supplies - he wanted to make sure I was okay with that, which I thought was very thoughtful. When Ryan arrived at my house, he and his assistant got right to work and stayed all afternoon until the job was done. After about 5 hours of work, he even offered to touch up the caulk in our bathroom shower for no extra cost. I will definitely ask him to do more work in the future!

It was a pleasure working with Ryan Labbe of Affordable Tile and Grout. I had been struggling to find the source of shower leak for several weeks and was very frustrated by the process. Ryan came to my house within a day of my call, did a thorough inspection of the shower enclosure and patiently answered my questions. Ryan provided me with a very fair quote and worked with me to get the repair done quickly. His attention to detail and professionalism was very reassuring and I recommend Affordable Tile and Grout without hesitation. I had a really hard time getting someone to do this job, until I found Ryan at Affordable. He came out, quoted the job, and was extremely responsive in terms of getting back to us and getting the job done. I would absolutely call him again for another job. The work is very good. Ryan took the time to go through and detail things out and do a thorough clean up when he was done. And to top it off, his price was extremely competitive. Definitely worth a call if you have some tile work.

I cannot recommend Ryan enough for the work he did in our kitchen. Ryan was prompt and accurate with communicating project and timing details, he and his team were professional and respectful of the house, and the finished product looks AMAZING. I have done some DIY tiling in the past, but I could not have replicated the execution and attention to detail that Ryan and his partner were able to deliver. A perfect example of this was when we saw Ryan pop out one of the tiles while he was grouting - when we asked him why he removed the tile, he told us that it had some slight chipping on the edge and was unacceptable. This pretty much sums up the job. I highly recommend Ryan for any future tiling work you may be considering.
