Ryan Labbe responded quickly to my initial contact and gave me a very good price for an estimate. His price beat everyone else by far, and he was the most responsive as far as scheduling and seemed exceptionally knowledgeable about the glass tile material. He and his assistant, Jim, showed up on time and did an exemplary job with the tile. They job turned out beautifully. They were extremely professional, polite and friendly, and kept the job site clean, taking care to lay drop cloths to keep the rest of the house immaculate. I would recommend Affordable Tile to anyone in a heartbeat. They did an exceptional job for a very reasonable price.

Ryan was great from the very beginning. We contacted him on a Friday afternoon, and he came to look at the job on Saturday. He quoted us a fair number, despite the fact that we had not yet selected tiles or installation style. We didn't get back to him for about a month while we decided on and ordered tile. Once tile was in, he was extremely quick to put us on his calendar. He worked quickly to get the job done. As DIYers, Ryan was so great to give my husband appropriate information about necessary prep work, and came by a few times to make sure everything was on track before he began installation. His flexibility was above and beyond, and the final product came out beautifully. I highly recommend..

Work was done on time and on schedule. There was a problem with one tile being a little off color. This was quickly corrected. I would recommend Best Tile for all your tiling needs.

Ryan was fantastic and I would recommend him to anyone needing tile work. On a day I happened to be home for other home maintenance, I gave him a call and he was able to come over a couple hours later to look at my bathroom. After several others told me I needed to re-do the entire bathroom (at significant cost), it was a welcome relief when he candidly said that I really only needed to re-tile two walls of the shower. He had an affordable estimate ready by the next day and I hired him immediately without hesitation to do the job. He was extremely flexible with my schedule - squeezing in the work on short notice and over Labor Day weekend when I was out of town. He stopped by in the evenings to accommodate my work schedule to show me samples and always kept me in the loop as to what was happening. He even hounded the plumbing company with calls to complete their portion of the project! Since matching the tile exactly would have been nearly impossible or over my budget, he suggested going with white and incorporating some of my salvaged color tiles to create a pattern. The result is fantastic - better than I expected! I'm already planning on using him (and a plumber he recommended) when I tile the floor.

lVery responsive, Extremely professional. Floor preparation was particularity good, Installed transition strips between tile and carpet in adjoining rooms for a terrific look. All grout lines are straight. Very neat grout job. We now have a very nice kitchen floor, thanks to Ryan for his attention to detail.

Ryan did an excellent job installing our new kitchen backsplash. The tile looks beautiful and the quality of work is stellar. Ryan was great at communicating with us about the start date and always responded quickly to our emails and phone calls. He also offered great suggestions and ideas. He left the kitchen exceptionally clean at the end of each workday and was very respectful of working around our schedule to complete the job. We really enjoyed working with Ryan and will definitely use him again in the future. We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for tile work.

Removing the old floor was a mess -- took most of a full day. Ryan is a very hard worker and worked continuously from start to finish over several days. His craftsmanship was excellent. The finished tile looks beautiful.

The job went very well. The work was started and finished in a timely fashion. The bathroom looks a thousand percent better! The quality is top notch. I highly recommend Ryan from Affordable Tile.

We called and Ryan answered right away. He was super friendly and all about getting it done. He came the same day for an estimate and was in and out of the house quickly. He gave feedback on a few other areas in need of tile attention as well. He recommended we do the work to remove the old adhesive from the removed tiles and suggested incorporating some white tiles to deal with a few broken old tiles (color would have been impossible to match). We scheduled the work over text message (which was convenient for me). The night before he was coming over I had a question about how to prep the tiles and texted him. He replied right away with a detailed answer. He came to do the work during the scheduled time and did a great job. I would definitely use him again and recommend Affordable Tile and Grout.

The was some damage to the tiles along a narrow wall in the men's room; tile covered the lower half of the wall and the outside rows of tiles had been knocked off of the wall. It was a relatively small job. I'd contacted several other companies that others recommended; some never called me back while others looked at the job and said they would give me an estimate and never got back to me. I turned to Angie's List and found Affordable Tile & Grout. I wish I'd called him first. Ryan was very responsive and professional. He returned my call promptly and we discussed some of the options based on pictures I sent him. We decided to replace the entire section rather than just replacing the outside rows of tiles. Because we could not do a color match to the old tiles that were also in other areas of the men's room, he used a complimentary color and incorporated some of the old tiles in a nice patten to match the rest of the room. He arrived when he said he would, got right to work and the quality of his work was excellent. He also identified other areas that needed work and provided options to fix them. Most of these items had been on my list to get done but I had not included them in my initial scope of work. Having seen his work, I had him do the additional work replacing the water damaged drywall, tiling and painting the area, sealing and painting the vanity. Once again, the quality of his work was excellent. I was unaware of the issue with the holes in the shower and appreciated that he brought this to my attention. As a bonus, the work area was completely clean when he was done, there was no left over mess to deal with which I appreciated too.

I called three people to give quotes for the floor. Ryan from Affordable Tile was very reasonable and seemed to really know what he was talking about. I decided to choose him for the job and from the beginning, he did everything he said he would, came when he said he would, and the end result exceeded my expectations. I am new to the area and all of my "go to" people are out of the area so, I had to start from scratch which is never fun. Ryan turned out to be exactly what you want in terms of reliability, quality of work, and fair price. On a side note, he is a really nice guy too. About the project; the house is on a slab and when he ripped up the laminate flooring, it was a total mess underneath. There was old tile and it turned out that a converted garage has a separate foundation that was not even with the rest of the kitchen. Ryan worked hard to get it right and after a lot of prep and leveling, the finished product truly looks like it belongs in a magazine! I am so pleased to find my new "go to" guy and I will be calling him in the spring for another project. He took the time to make sure everything was just right so that it not only looked perfect when he finished but will also be set well to last and stay looking beautiful. It was A LOT of work! I have done a lot of projects over the years and have horror stories about dishonest people who don't do what they say they will. It is really nice to find someone who turned out to be outstanding. I always put a lot of research and time into my projects (including trying to find the right person) so I hope this helps you in your search. I highly recommend Ryan and will definitely be using him again!

As ususal, Ryan from Affordable Tile did a great job for my husband and I. We have rental properties throughout the metro-west area, Ryan has been maintaining and upgrading these properties for over 10 years for us. I use a wide array of contractors throughout the year, Ryan by far is the most enjoyable to work with. He is professional, honest, and a true craftsman. I do not nomally write reviews, but I feel this one review needs to be read....best of luck

I have on older home (built 1964) which I bought five years ago. A steady leak from the shower in the master bath has continued to get worse over time, to the point of leaking into the laundry room beneath it. I worked with a plumber to replace the drain and also to install a new rubber pan in the shower floor. Affordable Tile and Grout came in as the plumbing repairs were done, to remove the floor tiles and several rows of wall tile that covered the affected areas, in addition to the tile areas around the shower valve. He also replaced the wood floor underneath the pan. Mr. Labbe of Affordable Tile and Grout had worked for me before, so I knew the quality of his work. He is very detail-oriented and knows his craft, having had many years of experience. In an older home, various problems of fit and sizing seem to present themselves all the time, and Mr. Labbe was able to deal with each problem creatively and professionally. The jobs he has done for me have been neat, visually appealing, and durable. Mr. Labbe was always prompt. He made every attempt to work with my/the plumber's schedule. He was also mindful of the fact that I was on a budget, and did everything he could to suggest the least expensive way of doing things. I also appreciated that, each time he left for the day, he cleaned up whatever mess there was. I strongly recommend Affordable Tile and Grout to whomever needs tile work. I will call him again in the future.
