Alex responded to my call requesting an estimate within 30 minutes! He scheduled his work as soon as the other work outside my new home was completed and ready for his treatment. He explained every element needed and why it was necessary. He was thorough, courteous, and professional. We are happy to establish an annual maintenance program with him.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out well. I have no complaints with them. The person was very nice. I paid extra than the actual big deal, because I bought an additional pesticide application. They were very professional.

Everything went well. I had a field mouse problem and haven't had one since.

It went very well. Alex was a true professional and personable. Although I do not know the effectiveness of the bait stations at this point, I feel comfortable knowing that he applied a good number of them and in areas that will not threaten the dog we own. He spent enough time identifying possible entry points. He educated me in the process. Very happy so far with his approach and demeanor.

It turned out wonderful. The guy came to do the check on his personal time. We ended up needing the extermination service so they came back the next day to do that.

He kept me informed on his progress (he came to the house a second time to install a chimney cap to keep raccoons out). The service also included follow-up visits for a year. We had a problem with skunks living under our farmer's porch. We called Alex, explained the problem and scheduled an appointment with him. Alex was prompt and extremely professional. He recommended installing stainless steel screening to exclude the skunks from under our porch. He also installed a one way door to ensure that the skunks were out and couldn't get back in. He offered to set traps, but that was our option...no pressure. We decided to go with the traps. Two skunks were trapped and Alex took them away. He removed the one way door and sealed the opening. We highly recommend Mass Bay. Alex is extremely responsive and does quality work. No voice mails...the contact number is his cell. We could not be more satisfied. Thanks Alex!

It went very smoothly. He was professional. Business-like yet friendly. And he called ahead to say that he was on his way, which is something I always like. His comments were clear and precise.

I am happy to say that I havent seen the woodchucks or the shrews since he came and set traps. He was very responsive and knowledgeable. He came when he said he was going to and did what he said he would do. He was very pleasant and easy to work with. I would whole heartedly recommend him.

This is a thorough service not jus bait and traps but blocking the access which is very important. It went very well.

I had a rat issue outside and some mice inside. I got a 49$ inspection and estimate and then was told the colony of rats were living next to my home. The guy came out put down boxes and got rid of 6 juvenile rats. One week later he was going to return and he came a day later than planned. There was a dead rat half in the box which traumatized my kid and I a bit. Wish I shopped around for prices, maybe its fair..... Im not sure. I believe he came out once for the inspection once to drop traps and plug holes and twice to collect rats. The guy was nice, VERY Knowledgable and he came and did what he said he would.

We suspected mouse issues since we saw some droppings. Alex confirmed that it was the case. He put boxes all over the house. He also found small carpenter ants activity so he treated the house for that too. We didn't see any more mouse activity after that. We called him once a few month later because we heard something in the attic and he came right away. We had no issues scheduling the work with him, he was very easy to deal with and personable. He explained everything he noticed during the inspection and what he did to fix the issue. I'd recommend him to anyone.

We had recently moved into our new house and realized we had uninvited "guests" in the basement. Alex responded to our initial email within an hour. He came out a day later and was very punctual, professional and a pleasure to have in our home. He detailed all the issues going on and gave us a plan of action. Though we did not have Mass Bay Wildlife Management, Inc. complete the work, we would recommend them without hesitation.

Alex was great start to finish. We moved into our house only a few months ago and I suspected we had something living under our front porch due to flies I was seeing at the bottom of our steps. I called Alex and he was very knowledgeable, thorough in his explaining his process and my options and reasonably priced. He came out just a couple of days later and sure enough, found a skunk had made its home beneath our front porch. He coaxed the skunk out and then installed a 14-inch (I think) barrier (steel grating) in the ground around the perimeter. This animal proofs the entire area beneath the porch. While Alex was here, I asked if he could look at another crawlspace beneath our unheated sunroom, because I detected a musky, sweet odo. Sure enough, mice. And evidence of rats burrows (it was a dirt floor and the previous owners kept a vegetable patch - great food source -- right next to the house/foundation, which rats also love). Needless to say, I was freaked. He put traps down and came back a week later to do complete removal of insulation, disinfect entire area and then reinstall clean insulation. No rats but lots of mice poop. It was a filthy, horrible job and I am so grateful I did not have to do it! He then sprayed for termites (there was some evidence) and also installed bait traps throughout the usual areas of the house (basement rafters and crawlspaces). He was incredibly professional. Always answered my calls and emails promptly and was incredibly calm about everything (which helps in situations where you're totally freaked out you might have animals living under/in your house). Highly recommend and will continue to use Mass Bay Wildlife Management. Several months later, no skunk. No musky odor and no evidence of mice (which, by the way, are in every single home on earth at one point or another and will be there unless you treat for them).

Very good, sprayed for carpenter ants. Saw there was some old termite activity but no new evidence but will be back next year for follow up.

Mice had taken up residency in our attic, basement and crawl space. Though we set traps several times ourselves, we couldn't seem to eliminate the problem. We were sure the word was out in the rodent community that our house was the place to weather the New England winters.One simple call to Mass Bay Wildlife Management has fixed the problem for good. Alex approached the situation from several angles. He used multiple methods to capture the critters and more importantly he identified the areas where they were entering the house. He neatly sealed off the points of entry and did several follow up visits to confirm the remedy was holding. One thing we appreciated is that when we mentioned adding a potential service, he suggested that we wait as he didn’t think it was necessary. It's nice to know that someone is not going to try to sell you something you don't need. We would without a doubt call Mass Bay Wildlife again and most likely will as we recently noticed the squirrels eyeing up our chimney.

I recently purchased a new home, a historic home in Somerville. After moving in, I realized I had a major issue when I saw burrows under the front porch steps where the garbage cans were kept. Having used Mass Bay at my previous building (which was a condo), I immediately called Alex and asked him to come take a look. He was there the next day and upon inspection found 17 separate rat burrows under the front porch, including a nest of baby rats. Alex explained to me that the moist soil under the porch as well as the front yard area with low lying plantings and moist soil was providing a haven for the rats to make their home. He outlined a comprehensive solution which included first dealing with exterminating the rats safely using a combination of traps and bait stations (he also recommended doing bait in the back yard as well where there were indications of activity) and then once we had done that, the only real way to prevent the rats from continuing their habitat there was to dig up the front yard and under the porch, remove the soil, lay down anti bacterial solutions to get rid of the smells and years of gross stuff there and then come in and lay down crushed stone so the rats could not continue to burrow. I was concerned that I would have to work with a landscaper in addition to Mass Bay to get the project done which would be costly but Mass Bay was able to provide me with a full service proposal where they did all the work. Alex provided a proposal which I felt was extremely fair for the amount of work being done. During the trap and bait period, Alex came by on a regular basis and checked on the status of the project (including trapping a 18 inch long bugger!). When the soil removal part began, Alex found under the soil a bunch of old cobblestones dating back to when the house was built in 1889. Alex called me at work and suggested we should use the cobblestones to create a path in the new front yard area which looks amazing and is so nice to keep the history of the house. He also found old bricks which he used as a border in another area and in the back of the house gave me a surprise couple of pavers in front of my backdoor area which was not in the original spec of the project. In the end, Mass Bay spent 2 full days here removing over a ton of soil. They eliminated the nasty rat smell that had been coming from under the porch, poured in 5 inches of stone in the front yard and under porch and created a beautiful new front yard that is now rat free! My neighbors were so impressed with their work they are now all hiring him to deal with their rat issues as well. I HIGHLY recommend Mass Bay. They provide exceptional personalized service, are professional, stick to their budget and get the job done.

We hired Mass Bay to provide monthly pest management service to our condo association after having horrible experiences with previous companies. From day one, Mass Bay has been professional, provided great service, reasonably priced and a company you can trust. In addition, unlike the previous company Mass Bay provides us with a detailed inspection report after each monthly service which is something other companies we have used in the past did not do. On initial site visit, they identified several simple things we could do to improve pest management in the building -- missing brick where birds were nesting, installation of door sweeps on utility closets, placement of pest traps in key areas of building basement. I would highly recommend Mass Bay for any pest management needs whether it be for condo associations or single family homes.
