Kerry was wonderful to work with -- she talked through all the options at the store, took care of the measurements at the house and arranged the installation. The installation went very well, despite having to be postponed because of snow. She stayed on top of the job until everything was done. Love the stove, and hate to see winter ending!!

Visited the showroom and was helped by the owner. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and overall helpful in selecting the right stand alone wood stove (which I have been using for several months now through the months of Dec-Feb). I secured an install date also. They do have a large selection of products, and have been in the business for a long time, so I do not want to sell Feen's short. My Ratings Explained: Feen's has been in the business for several decades. Despite this, I'm not going to return my business there because I didn't like their customer service, with Bob the owner the exception (face-to-face). I get the impression that they lack competition, so they do not have to put the effort into customer service. With that, some things they could have done better to improve the over-all experience, is to give a follow up phone call after the installation. It's worth driving the extra 15 min to another store to be a valued customer. I was told I would receive a confirmation phone call a day or two before the install, which I never received. Also, when I called to check on the install date, I felt like a problem for them. Maybe the reason they charge as much as they do, is to make up for lack of client retention. I rated punctuality "Bad" because they were four days late on the install, and left me hanging day-by day because the installer was sick. you be the judge, I rated punctuality bad and explained it, although being sick is an unforeseen event I was displeased because I didn't have heat in my home. Also I was informed that install delays could be a possibility when I paid the down payment, but none-the-less still frustrating. Price: Fair because they do not offer veteran discounts, or cash incentive, and the price wasn't great. If I had more time and wasn't in dire straits I would have shopped around more. You are going to pay top dollar for their products. Quality: I bought a Vermont Castings and I am pleased with the products performance. A few variables to consider when buying a wood stove: the quality of the wood stove, the space you are trying to heat, etc. In consideration of the stove's performance given well-seasoned firewood, the catalytic stove heats well, but burn times are are advertised longer than what is ideal for enough heat, unless your home in less that 10 years old. The installers were professional and did a good job. They explained how to use the stove and were responsive to questions. The only other problem I had, was despite giving the measurements of my fireplace to the owner before ordering the stove, the stove was too tall and the installers had to cut the legs to make it fit. I was compliant because I wasn't going to delay any further, and the legs levelers, that level the stove were removed.
