I contacted Cleghorn Pand H on recommendation of my condo association. I heard back from a plumber within 2 hours, who asked for more details of the problem, and discuss what the potential causes were. He then called me back 2 hours later saying they could come out first thing in the morning. I was hoping to get someone out in the next 5-7 days, so next day was great. Ten minutes before the scheduled appointment, I got a call from the plumber (I think his name was Tim) who would be coming to my home, confirming that it was OK to come out, and to let me know they were on the way. Both men listened to what I had to say, and asked questions about the issue. They spent time with me trying to diagnose the problem, and found the cause within 15 minutes. The issue was the shut off valve under the sink was not completely on, which was causing the pressure build up, which caused the rattling pipes. He turned it on and the rattling went away, but due to the potential problem's this pressure build up could have caused, he recommended that I replace both valves under the sink. I agreed to this, knowing the main to the building (20 condo's) would have to be shut off. He took the initiative to contact my condo association to let them know he wanted to shut the water off. Clearly, this was not something he needed to do, yet had the consideration for the rest of the people in the building to do so. Once the main was turned off, I asked if he could also change the shut off valve to the toilet, since I have had trouble with turning this off/on in the past. He had all 3 valves changed, and the main back on in no more than 30 minutes. When they left, the only reason I knew they had been there was because my pipes didn't rattle/rumble any further. Every single person I dealt with at Cleghorn Pand H was professional, knowledgeable, and personable. I would definitely contact them again in the future.
