They did an excellent job with the floors.

Steven and Doug did a great job on our floors before we moved into our house. They were very very knowledgeable in the materials, talking to the manufacturers on the finishing and how to keep the floors lasting long. They also came with a team and finished their work in just a couple days for a 2,600 square feet house.

Everything was done with the utmost level of care and expertise. We went from old, worn wood floors to shiny, brand new ones. They completely transformed our house and did an amazing job in less than a week. This all came at an unbelievable price lower than most of the competition around.

The restoration of the historical floors was beautiful. The space is dramatically changed for the good. We have already had a high traffic event, and the floor is still shining.

My expectations were exceeded by this company. All aspects of the project were excellent. Communication, timeliness, workmanship. Excellent. 100+ years hardwoods covered by multiple layers of linoleum and carpet look brand new now.

Better than I could have hoped for. Steve and his team did an incredible job with our hardwood floors refinish. One room had wall to wall carpet that was ripped up and had glue all over the old flooring and they cleaned it up to look flawless. Stairs refinish also perfect. Rates were far better than other quotes I received as well. I would recommend for any floor work 5/5 .

We selected Sousa's Fine Floors after receiving 4 estimates. They were chosen mostly due to price, reputation and Steven's general helpfulness in answering my questions. The hardwood (beech?) floors are one of the best features of this 100-yr old, rather neglected house. But they'd been pretty banged up. We opted for semi-gloss oil-modified poly due to durability factors and the amber tint on the light wood. Steven and his crew were punctual, professional, generous, and flexible. They patched a 12"x12" spot for a small up-charge, which was much appreciated. The floors look fantastic!!

They were great before the work started (sales). They insisted on immediate payment before we inspected the work. The floors are VERY poorly done. There are blotches of poly, ditches from oversanding, and more. I wish we could attach pictures---the work is VERY bad. We are understanding. The worst--for us--is that they will not answer our calls or texts. They will not even respond. Do NOT trust them. We filed complaints with BBB and the MA Att Gen.

Excellent. Steve & nephew Caleb were punctual, professional and easy to work with. I have 2 Golden Retrievers that are **** ** the floor. Steve suggested a commercial grade urethane with 4 coats instead of 3. Cost was a little more but I think it was well spent. My Brazilian Cherry floor looks beautiful and hopefully will last with proper care

Though I never met Mr Sousa face-to-face, he was regularly in touch during the project. He completed the work on time, and, for a very fair price. Took care to minimize the spread of dust, and, cleaned up after. This is my first hire of a flooring team, and I would recommend them to others.

This guy is amazing. I had a "rush job" that needed to be done. He came out the same day that I called for an estimate. He started two days later and worked on the weekend to meet the deadline. His work is amazing. My floors were so old, I did not expect the results that I received. I have people come and visit and they are "wowed" by what they see.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Mr. Souza and his team. The communicated extremely well before job and were able to pencil us in quickly. We went over cost, options, and they answered all question we had about care and longevity of our floors. We plan on rehiring them for some work to my Dad's home. The job couldn't have gone better.

Mr Sousa did a wonderful job. I could hardly believe how the old stains came off and left behind beautiful floors! I am very happy. I definitely would (and will) hire him again when I replace the floors upstairs.
