Great first meeting, friendly, courteous, professional I thought I had a winner. Came back with a crew and they went to work taking down two trees and trimming two others. They then chipped through the brush and four of five brush piles I had made. Each was about 4 x 10 ft. They were done in just over two hours. Mr T showed up at my door, said they were done and wanted a check. Then things went south. I went out to inspect the work and saw that the cleanup was subpar and that one brush pile remained. I was informed ( using language that was heated and very inappropriate) that the brush pile wasn't even on my property, never discussed and that if I wanted it removed it would cost another hundred dollars. In fact, the pile was discussed, was definitely on my property and was within 25 ft of his truck. I really don't like being cussed at. I have a paper given to me describing exactly what was to be done for $800. This was not an estimate. It simply states what will be done for $800. I told him to remove the pile as we agreed at the first meeting. I received a bill in the mail a few days later for $875. I sent him a copy of our agreement and $800. Round two: When I got the bill for $875 I called his office to complain. The person I talked to was embarassed and said that Mr.T's actions, shoddy work and getting really mad at any customer who questions anything was a frequent pattern. She lliterally apoligised to me for twenty minutes about his behavior and abuse of customers. This was not a one off from somebody having a bad day but a pattern that she was having to deal with on a weekly basis. Now she was in tears talking to me. In the end I spent a week cleaning up all the brush they left around the yard. I had no intention of writting this but I just met someone else who had a similar expierence with Mr.T. and felt it was importent to relay my expierence.
