THE GUTTER CLEANING COMPANY

Despite the fact that we hired this company for a number of years to clear the gutters, they have apparently found it acceptable to neglect and be dismissive of a longtime customer. The company sent its usual email solicitation last fall for gutter cleaning and we responded, asking for the gutters to be done, as we have for years. We always paid the requested price, tipped them well and liked their work and comportment. However, they somehow saw fit to completely ignore our request for services last fall - we never heard back from them. Willing to give them another chance, I responded to the email solicitation which they sent again this fall. Once again, no response of any kind, despite a history of being good repeat customers. It may not be at all unusual to encounter rudeness in contractors. But with these fellas, I believe they have graduated from being rude to being unreliable and unprofessional. I have found that to be a more ominous sign, often predictive that their words and their work may well have deteriorated, as have their ethics and dependability.

After a rough February/March weather-wise, The Gutter Cleaning Company came out in April to clean our gutters. They arranged with us to leave payment since we were both going to be at work, but my husband arrived just at their appointment time and they were spot on for the time we'd agreed! They were quick, efficient, and we'll definitely be hiring them again.

The Gutter Company cleaned and repaired my gutters for a very reasonable price. The work was completed on schedule and at the estimated cost. The crew was professional and polite, taking the time to clearly explain what was needed to complete the job. Communication with the front office was excellent: they were very prompt and responsive. I will hire these guys again.

It was a little difficult to get the scheduling done. They did a good job with the work but the gentleman was a little disorganized, that's all. The work was great.

The company when I called was driving near my home, so they stopped. I had checked their site before, because I was looking to only have my downspouts cleaned. They stated they performed this service on the website. However, it doesn't seem like they were interested in the job. They were tapping the gutters saying there were no leaves on them, but they failed to check the elbows. They would not accept what I was saying to them! They did come back because they didn't finish the work (they didn't have hoses). After the second appointment, the work still wasn't done. Shortly thereafter, I noticed that the gutter, at the elbow, was leaking following a heavy rain. They need some training. It was a terrible experience.

They had an appointment on a date they chose. They cancelled that one and said that they were actually all booked up for that day. They chose a second date. They cancelled at the last minute saying it was going to be too cold the next day, when in fact the over night temperature never got to freezing and the next day was warm. The third time they again chose the day, called and left a message the night before saying they'd be here between 10 and 12, and just never showed up. Third strike, you're out. I've used them before and they were fine, but never again.

I contacted The Gutter Cleaning Company for a quote and received a very quick response. The gentleman on the phone was very polite and professional. We scheduled a date however they had to cancel due to the weather. The provider called me on that day with a new proposed date 2 days later. It was raining on the original day and it would not have been safe to work on the original day. The team came on the new date and did a great job. I will use them again in the future

Came when they said. Very professional and pleasant. Gave the gory details on our very old house's crappy gutters, which we knew of but tried to ignore. Very informative and thorough, noticed how awful our chimney was and told us about that. Nice guys who were fast and efficient, can't ask for more than that! Highly recommend.

I left a voicemail for a quote and Al Sr, promptly called me back with details. We set up an appointment for the following week. He called me the night before with a 2 hr window. Al Jr. and his team showed up within the 2 hr window. They were both exceptionally polite and explained the process and asked if we had any trouble spots. After performing the work, he answered all of my questions and gave me a rundown at the end with a quick analysis. We recently purchased the house, so we were not sure what the condition of the gutters was after the long icy winter we had. I would definitely use this company again. They were fantastic to deal with.

They are punctual, professional, and courteous. They know what they do and did an excellent job to clean my clogged gutter. I will recommend to anyone who needs gutter cleaning.

I submitted an online request, and Al responded back to me very quickly, and was able to fit me in on short notice. His crew arrived the morning of the job as scheduled, and everything was in tact upon their departure. $150 for a hip roof 2-story colonial (built up very high) with garage seemed quite reasonable to me. Good communication abilities. Will use again.

The day before the work, someone called to let me know approximately what time it would be done. Two men arrived right on time and got to work. They cleaned the gutters by hose and by hand on both sides of the house. They worked very fast. They took time to answer questions from me and from my neighbors (who could tell they were doing a good job). I of course cannot see into the gutters myself, but as far as I can tell, they did a great job. I am very pleased with this company.

I found good reviews for this company on Angie's List, so I gave them a call. Al, the owner, returned my call within an hour and we set up an appointment. He also said that I might find a coupon on Angie's list, and if I did, to call him back and he would change the price of the service. I did not find a coupon, but I appreciated the fact that he made the offer. Al called me the day before the appointment to give me a time frame and remind me to make sure the outside water was turned on. He told me that if I wanted to leave a check on my door I didn't need to be home, but he gave me a 2 hour window for when the workers would be coming. The 2 guys arrived within the time frame and went right to work. They were polite and efficient. The cleaned the gutters by hand and then washed them out with a hose. After washing out the gutters they washed down my entire deck, and then picked up all of the pine needles and leaves off the ground and took them away. The gutters came out great, there were no surprises, no debris left in my yard, and no visit to the hospital for me (which happened the last time I decided to clean gutters myself and fell from the ladder). WELL WORTH the investment!! I will call again in the fall to schedule another cleaning, and I would recommend them to anyone needing their gutters cleaned.

Good job, should be $150 job, not $200. 30 minutes of work

They're very good. They're great. I've used them many times before. They always do the job. Since they're in Angie's List I kind of re-evaluate anyone I've been using; based on their reviews it was no need for me to switch to anyone. They're easy to contact. They're very prompt and reliable. They do a great job.

I found them to be a great company. They came on time, which was very nice. I know he has been in business for a couple of years. The price was exactly what it was when they said. It matched the estimate perfectly. They came and cleaned up after themselves. They were very fast. They did it in a timely manner. They did a good job and I won't hesitate to use them in the spring again in which I probably would use them again.

They showed up as promised and did a great job. Cleaned up all debris.
