There are not enough superlatives to describe my satisfaction. Arrived home late in early January to no heat on a frigid winter evening, Referred by another local plumber as the best in the area with my type of furnace. Incredibly prompt call-back, team arrived quickly, were friendly, reassuring and professional, and the problem was resolved within minutes. Guidance provided for reset procedure if it happened again. NEW error code this evening, Steve called back promptly again, and was able to walk me through a fix over the phone. Just called a while ago to follow up and make sure everything is OK. There is nothing more gratifying than finding a professional on whom you can rely. THANK YOU!

They arrived at 7:30PM, the appointment time scheculed and they were gone by 7:55PM with the job completed. A but pricey but they work in pairs, this freed up the technician who was actually on the floor doing the job to keep working while the second tech went to their truck to retrieve replacement parts. So I paid for two men but a single man would have been on the job longer so it's likely the cost would have been the same. Nobody bills by the 1/2 hour, one man would have been there beyong the first hour and I would have been billed for two hours either way. In short, they were on time, very efficient and very polite. I'd use this company anytime and would recommend them to anyone.

He was very quick. I called to have the service done and he got back within 48 hours. He was reasonably priced.

I would like to start with saying I have been a homeowner for 40+ Years. New Bedford Gas is by FAR the most professional and competent contractor I have dealt with. Steve installed a Honeywell WI-FI thermostat for me that was supposed to be a homeowner DIY, unless of course you have inherit wiring problems. Steve came on time and worked tirelessly in tracking down the wiring problem and corrected it. This was not an easy task and I am impressed by Steve's knowledge and persistence. Please, if you are looking for a Heating/AC Contractor, use New Bedford Gas.

I have a very good review with New Bedford Gas Service Co. I've had two very good experiences. The person was Steve and it was a good experience. He fixed the problem and at the price that he had quoted. It may just be the owner that does it. I think it's a one man show, but he's reputable. I would speak highly of his character.

Don't call anyone else. This company offers excellent srevice at reasonale prices and their responce time is fantastic. You call the answering service and receive a call back in minutes. I have used New Bedford gas several times and they are the best company I have ever dealt with.

After finding this firm on Angie's List, I called. The call was promptly answered by a service and the owner (Steve Kanuse) was back to me within 3 minutes. Informing me that he did not insulate heating ducts, he asked for 30 minutes to make some calls. Within 7 minutes, he called back with a confirmation of an independent contractor who would do the work. Just as in Steve's case, this contractor called me immediately, came the next day for an estimate and completed the work in a timely and first-rate manner.

We had no heat (gas), on a Sunday, of course. Called NB Gas and spoke to a very professional receptionist who said the tech would call back within 15 mins. Steve Kanuse called back in 5 minutes. I told him that no one was home to pay him, but he said no problem we'll send you the bill. When I got home from work the heat was on. At 7pm that evening, Steve called to say that he replaced the thermocouple and that I also needed a new temperature gauge, which I had noticed was full of water. He apologized for not having the gauge on his truck, said he would stop by in a few days to replace it and that there would be no service charge. Two days later the new gauge was on and I was only charged for the part. Great response time, excellent service, very fair price, no extra charge for Sunday service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
