They were very quick to respond to my inquiry for help with an aging driveway in need of repair and resurfacing. Came out and provided an estimate within 2 days and completed my project the very next day. I like the fact that it is a family run business, and all of their crew were very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. They did a great job.

We contacted Sam on Monday. He came the same afternoon and gave us an estimate which was agreed upon. He returned the next day to start the job which was completed by 4 pm! Sam and his team were very efficient and professional. They did a great job, even offering to remove some debris that were in the driveway prior, because we did not have the time to do it - for free!!! He We chose Sam because he answered the phone. We had contacted several companies who were unresponsive.

Sam is a top tier professional! I reached out on Friday night and Sam was there Saturday to provide a bid. Work was completed Tuesday! Excellent work. Thank you my friend!

It was an outstanding job from start to finish. I called Sam for an estimate, as other paving companies either didn't answer their phones, did not respond to phone messages or emails either in any sort of timely fashion. Sam came out to have a look for an estimate that same day, we came to an agreement for the work, and he and his coworkers were on the job the NEXT day, and FINISHED the job that same day as well! Great quality, and now it not only looks beautiful, but no longer will I be throwing gravel all over my lawn while shovelling snow in Winter. Great people to work with, and their word is their bond!

I already had an estimate on my driveway. When I decided to check Angi’s list. I Inquired of Modern Paving and he came right down to see me. He gave me an estimate that was more than fair. So even though I had an estimate already that was good I called modern paving. When he came to do the job he made a few suggestions that I liked very much. Sam also suggested that it would look good if I spruced up the walkway to my front door and I’m so glad I had him do that for me. I liked Sam from the moment I met him he was a perfect gentleman and never used foul language. The next day when he came to do the job not one of his men use foul language either. I had contacted Modern Paving to get an estimate on an asphalt driveway to replace my gravel driveway. Sam answered and made arrangements to come and give me the estimate. He was punctual when arrived on the agreed day. He measured the driveway and we discussed the job and agreed on the price. He indicated that if the weather held the job would be completed within the next two weeks. There was an unexpected cancellation and to my surprise I was able to fit into that empty slot. Sam abs his crew showed up and began working immediately. Measurements were taken, the area was marked off and Sam involved me in that process to make sure it was where I wanted. The driveway was graded and raked. When the asphalt arrived the crew worked quickly to spread and compact it. The crew graded a difficult area to help prevent water collecting. The job was completed by mid afternoon and looks absolutely amazing! So happy with the results. Highly recommended

Sam and his crew did a great job with our driveway that was 82 feet of more ruts and rocks than driveway. I really appreciated the way they took care to grade, fill and lay down a proper gravel base before installing the 3” layer of asphalt. They were done in less than a day and left the yard spotless.

This was a huge job and no detail was spared. From the demolition of the old driveway, to the finished product, Sam took the time to walk me around and explain everything and ask permission to add details he thought would improve the end result. The edge work was expertly manicured and looks fantastic! They took time to round corners for a very professional look. I can definitely say I highly recommend Modern Paving for your paving needs.

After getting several quotes and meeting many contractors, I hired Sam and modern paving in 2016 to install a new asphalt driveway at my home. From my first meeting with Sam I knew modern paving was the one to go with. He is an old fashion, give you my word and take it to the bank kind of guy and I decided to call him on it...and he did not disappoint! When the driveway was installed the crew showed up on time, completed the project in one day, and refused payment until the job was complete. During the day one piece of equipment broke down and for the trouble, they told me they would come back and seal the driveway, free of charge, one year after it had settled. I thought to myself that is nice but they would never stand by that promise. I called Sam a year later to ask about the sealing I was promised. Sam not only remembered me as a customer he got right to work scheduling a driveway sealing for me. From day one they treated my family and I with respect and greatly appreciated our business. I never felt like I was just another customer to them. Sam stood by a promise and a handshake on the driveway sealing just goes to show what kind of company Modern Paving is!
