Bay State Construction Fairhaven

Steve Manzoni and Bay State construction installed a roof at my property 5 years ago. It started to to leak recently, so I called him up and he and his partner returned my call back immediately to take care of the problem. In a nut shell, Bay State Construction is a very reliable company that offers quality work that they stand by.

Eight days later...........no reply for an estimate. Out of four contacts on Angie's List, one replied but never showed for the estimate

When we called them, we left a message and they called us right back and made an appointment. The came on time, clean courteous, looked at area to be worked on and gave an assessment for work and cost. They came when they said they would in the morning with a crew and all necessary materials to do the job.They put safety cones between lawn and street so that people would know work was being done in area. They completed the job in one day, cleaned up after themselves and went over everything with us when they were done. The next day they came to make sure all debris was removed and gave us an itemized bill. We paid immediately. They were honest and kind. There was a lot more work that needed to be done but they realized that our funds are limited as we are senior citizens on fixed incomes. So they reviewed everything and did the MOST IMPORTANT which was the damage from last winter in New England. We will call them again to work on sections in the future when we are able. They said that no job is too small or too big. some other contractors would not help us as they said that they job was not big enough. There was also a contractor that came, gave estimate, made a date to do the job but never showed up. I would highly recommend Bay State Construction in Fairhaven, MA.

After explaing his entire system he and his crew showed up removed the existing roof shingles. Then the crew repaired any roof sheathing boards that were damaged, then spread Certainteeds Winter Guard over the entire low slope roof, folding the Winter Guard over the edge of the roof trim boards , then installed an 8 inch wide high quality drip edge at the facia board and both rake boards, then sealed the roof edge of the where the drip edge and the Winter Guard meet. Then installed Certainteed Landmark shingles. They installed a replacement skyight did an exceptional job of flashing around the chimney and side walls and did a great job of clean up. Great crew , friendly, professional and at a price I thoght was cheap
