+ -1 moreBrian was the consummate professional. He was courteous, came on Saturday morning after a Friday morning call. He patiently answered my incessant questioning. He explained the need to add a junction box to hang and rewire the ceiling light. I even gave him the dreaded "oh by the way..." and had him fix wiring in the fuse box and a junction box, and he did it promptly without hesitation. I have absolutely no reservations recommending him to do any electrical work.
Description of Work: I had a kitchen light that was shorting out my porch light. I also had to have work done on the electrical box and a junction box.

Description of Work: Called for emergency service for electrical outage in home residence. Brian, the "owner" of the company came out and proceeded to tell me that my electrical system was completely unsafe and needed to be replaced immediately with an upgraded system that would cost $2,500. When I asked him to quote me and break out the cost so I could get a few other estimates for comparison, he got very upset and said he didn't have time to "nickel and dime" his work with me. He also threatened to undo the work he had already done to get my electric back on if I didn't agree to have him come out and do the $2,500 job a few days later. I agreed and proceeded to get a few more electricians out the next day, who told me I did not need to do the work, and ended up repairing my system for $100. They actually laughed at his quote. DON'T HIRE THIS GUY!

+ -1 moreTHIS COMPANY ADVERTISES ONE HOUR EMERGENCY SERVICE AND FREE ESTIMATES IN THE PHONE BOOK WITH A FULL PAGE AD, ELECTRICIANS LICENSED. I CALLED THEM TO MOVE AN OUTLET BECAUSE A KITCHEN TILER COULD NOT CONTINUE HIS WORK WITH THE OUTLET IN ITS PRESENT POSITION. I SPOKE WITH BRIAN JANCSY, WHO SAID HE COULD NOT GET TO IT THAT DAY BUT WOULD CALL ME BETWEEN 9-11 A.M. THE NEXT DAY. I DID NOT HEAR FROM HIM BY NOON THE NEXT DAY, SO CALLED THE OFFICE AGAIN AND SPOKE WITH A WOMAN WHO SAID SHE WOULD HAVE HIM CALL ME RIGHT AWAY. NO ONE EVER CALLED. SO MUCH FOR ''EMERGENCY SERVICE'' IF THAT IS THEIR IDEA OF EMERGENCY SERVICE, HOW LONG WOULD REGULAR SERVICE TAKE?
Description of Work: THEY DID NOT FOLLOW THROUGH, SO NO WORK WAS DONE.

+ -1 moreTHIS COMPANY MADE NUMEROUS APPOINTMENTS THAT THEY DID NOT KEEP, OFTEN WITHOUT EVER CALLING TO SAY THEY WOULDN''T COME. AFTER THE JOB COST TWICE AS MUCH AS ORIGINALLY ESTIMATED, THEY WIRED A FAN WRONG AND IT TOOK OVER 2 WEEKS AND 4 BROKEN APPOINTMENTS TO GET THEM BACK TO FIX THE DAMAGE THEY HAD DONE.
Description of Work: THEY REPLACED SOME OUTDOOR LIGHTS, FIXED AN OUTLET, ADDED AN ELECTRICAL BOX AND RE-WIRED AN OVERHEAD LIGHT IN THE KITCHEN.
