Derek was a pleasure to work with! He sent me a response the same day I sent him a message on Angie's List to inquire about his availability, and was at our house to do a site visit/provide an estimate within 48 hours. He emailed us an itemized estimate that same night! When we decided that we only wanted to upgrade the electrical service (and not replace the bathroom exhaust fan at this time) he sent us an updated estimate right away. We found a mutually convenient time for him and his assistant to come do the job a few weeks later. The night before he was scheduled to upgrade our electrical service, he sent me an email to confirm the time he'd be arriving the next morning (a Saturday) and provided a friendly reminder that our power would be off for 4-5 hours. He even gave us a helpful recommendation, saying it would be a good idea to turn up the refrigerator that night so everything would stay cold while the power was out! He and his assistant arrived promptly at 8am as promised, which was great. Derek even helped us cut back a few tree branches that were in the way by our meter. They did an excellent job labeling and mapping out all of the different rooms on our new electric panel to make it easy for us to know what-was-what. They finished the job around 4pm and cleaned everything up so that any work areas were restored as they had been before. Derek and the Inspector came by again on Monday and everything met inspection.

I wish everything went this smoothly! If you are looking a professional that knows his stuff, does what he says he will do and has integrity - Derek is your guy! From first contact to job completion Derek was awesome. He was quick to respond to my initial request, showed up to look at the job timely, provided a detailed proposal when he said he would (actually it was the same day). He showed up to do the job when he said he would (there was no delay or rescheduling), and he did nice clean work. He even told me when he was going to turn the power off and that it would be off for 4 hours - the actually power off time was 3:55 minutes! I wish all tradespeople were this easy to work with - of course if that were the case Angie's List would be out of business.

Derek showed up on time and changed something like 80 outlets and switches quickly. He also accepted the additional job of installing some light fixtures. Though I have not tested every single one, the electrical connections seem correct. However, I asked him to rethread stripped screw holes as he went, and though he did fix a couple of them, at least a dozen were left stripped. So, now I have some wobbly fixtures.

Derek is the best electrician we've been using him for years to service our multiple restaurant locations. He is always neat, professional and stands by his top notch work. No job to big for him

Derek was fantastic. Everything he did for us was punctual and the work was evaluated and executed professionally. The ceiling lights were a bit of a challenge as it is an older house but nonetheless his mess was minimal and his need to do the work right was paramount.

Derek installed new light fixtures at my house. He was excellent to work with. He arrived on time, performed the work quickly, and did a great job. He was able to work around some old, tricky wiring, which wasn?t an easy task. To his credit, he recommended against installing sconces I had purchased, as he wasn?t confident they?d survive an outdoor environment. This likely would have been an easy job for him, and I appreciated that he was honest instead of just doing the work and taking the money. I would certainly recommend Derek to others and will be calling him again once I pick out some outdoor-rated fixtures.

An experienced professional Derek worked quickly and effectively getting all the work done quickly and with high quality. I had hired Derek previously and hired him again for this job because I knew he would do it right. I would hire him again if I need more electrical work.

Derek was extremely professional, courteous, and friendly. He was able to get all of the work done very easily with time to spare. He communicated very well which sadly isn't very popular with trade professionals these days. I will be a long time customer of his! Derek was excellent again for us with this job. We've hired him a few times, are always happy with him, and have referred him to friends who are equally pleased. He made this most recent job easy for us with helpful advice and by getting all the materials for us. As always he was prompt, he worked quickly and very neatly, and even finished early, for which he reduced the total costs from his estimate. Derek's work and customer service are both excellent - I would recommend him for all electrical work you need!

The installation of the outdoor electrical receptacle was very well done. The repair of the non-working outdoor light fixture went very well. The owner communicated very quickly and often throughout the process. He advised me that parts were additional cost and the work may require a bit longer than the 2 hours purchased. He came out quickly to provide an estimate. During the repair of the non-working light fixture it was found to be a loose wire and did not require the additional parts or labor. I highly recommend this company.

I couldn't recommend Derek more highly. We've worked with him on a variety of projects in the past 2 years -- from small (wall-mounting tvs and installing outdoor lights) to large (putting in a new panel outside, running electricity to an outdoor shed, upgrading a panel inside and installing an electric car charger.) His estimates are always fair, and I appreciate that he has an automated estimating/payment system that allows me to easily track and pay payments online. He's incredibly punctual, thorough and fair -- highly, highly recommend!

I felt their price was very reasonable. They were prompt, on time and did exactly what they said they were going to do. Their original estimate described what some of my options were and made appropriate suggestions.
