+ -1 moreIt turned out that the unit finally started to leak because it had been attached to a drain pipe coming up from under the house that was a little too long and so the toilet wasn't seated firmly on the floor. He replaced the wax seal that attaches the fixture to the floor, caulked it at the base and replaced the flex cable that brought the water into the tank. In addition he replaced the flapper valve cover on another toilet and diagnosed a third one as not needing replacement.
Description of Work: One of the toilets in the house had a very slow leak at the base. Before beginning work he described at least three possible causes of the problem, quoted a price to make the repair and then proceeded to do the job.
