BESKO'S APPLIANCE

Beskos is a great example of why to stay local. They only sell brands that they can service themselves - so, while their selection is limited, you can trust that they'll stand behind it. The prices seemed a little higher than big box stores, but their delivery and installation charges were much lower. In addition, they do the installation themselves instead of subcontracting it. In the end, the total price was close to most big box stores, even if you apply the movers coupons that are floating around. Our installer spent a long time explaining what he was doing, and was very careful in all his work. When we found the old dishwasher was unbalanced due to how our floor was installed, he and I spent a little while rooting around in the garage to find something that would make a sturdy shim to keep the unit level. He then ran several fill/drain cycles to make sure the tub didn't leak. They were great at every step of the way, and we'll happily use them again.

We had excellent service and they called several times the day of delivery to confirm the time of delivery

I was researching buying a washer/dryer and called Besko's to see if they sold used machines. They don't--but the man on the phone spent a long time discussing types of machines--which brands to look for, which to avoid--and even recommended another business for me to call. He answered a lot of questions, and was generous with his time and knowledge even though I let him know I couldn't afford new machines right now. I wouldn't hesitate to call them for service in the future--or to buy new machines if that was what I was in the market for.

I was very pleased with the professionalism and the thoroughness of the service calls. I would definitely call Besko's Appliance again for service and highly recommend them highly.
