Description of Work: In the process of selling a house on Cape Cod that belonged to my mother, (I live in Washington State) the house inspector discovered that the 200 amp line that this contractor had replaced the previous winter when it had rotted through (not put in conduit in 1977 when the house was built) was actually only a 100 amp line. At the time the original work was done, he told the caretaker that while the trench was open, it was just as easy to put in a 200 amp line. When his bill arrived, this was reinforced by the language used that stated that the "project consists of installing new underground service...job has new upgrade to 200 amp capability..." The realtor handling the sale then added this amenity to the description of what the house provided. Once this situation was discovered but with only a short timeline to work with, Mr. Diamond agreed to replace the 100 amp line with the 200 amp line for free but I had to pay for the parts, 2 NStar disconnect/reconnect charges, and a new electrical box for which he demanded full compensation. The work was still not completed on the date of the house closing which nearly caused the sale of the house to fall through, which cost me additional attorney fees and significant emotional distress on the part of all parties.

Description of Work: Added 2 cable outlets in upstairs bedrooms.
