They have done plenty of work at my 100 year old home, everything from replacing windows and doors to putting up crown moulding and fireplace mantles. They have also painted our house which still looks brand new many years later. Very trustworthy and honest, listens to the customer, and keeps you informed through the process. Ed pays a lot of attention to detail. Aims to deliver a perfect end product. An awkward job to pull out a recent (by another contractor) but poorly done renovated shower stall and redo it.

Ed was great to work with and his bid was thorough, quick to come and competitive. His assembled crew and he were professional at all times and were here on time every day until completion of the project that included: removal of a sub standard sub floor in our family room and reframing where needed to accept a new, insulated sub floor plus a 3/4 inch prefinished oak floor. They found some framing surprises lurking once the original floor was removed but dealing with these identified irregularities impacted the original budget by only several hundred dollars for increased material and labor costs. All floor related work along with some electrical upgrades and the hanging of face mount barn style sliding doors went smoothly and Ed kept me informed daily of both progress and issues as they arose. The serious and worsening bounce in our floor is now history and we are delighted with all the work that was done here. The crew was mindful of safety issues throughout the week that they spent here and managed work area space accordingly. Even our chocolate lab, Perla, liked them all and looked forward to daily playtime with the carpenters in spite of the noise. I would certainly engage Ed on future home projects and recommend him to others without reservation.

I would highly recommend Ed Wolforth for any of your carpentry projects. Ed was the first to respond to my posted request to replace our back stairs. . When he came to scope out the project he was well prepared with photos of similar work he had done in the past, pros and cons of different building materials and a price quote which was right in line with what my research indicated. Upon giving him a deposit he gave me a start date ant was there as promised. My wife and I could not be happier with the finished product, the workmanship is excellent and the new stairs are an added home value.

Ed did a kitchen renovation for us. Some of the tasks he addressed were moving a window, replacing siding, removing an exterior door, removing partition wall, installing pre-made cabinetry, painting, tiling, hardwood floor installation with baseboard and crown moldings. He subbed the electric and plumbing, but I am confident he could have done it as well. I tortured him the entire time and he took it well. the project ran a bit longer than we anticipated, but we stayed on budget and he was working exclusively with me the whole time, not running back and forth between 3 job sites as many others
