Jon came by for a consult to look at some ugly looking black staining that was growing in my basement. He was very professional and punctual and thoroughly explained why it was not mold, but harmless mildew and how to rectify it. I was so appreciative for his integrity and honesty and I will absolutely use Indoor Environmental if I ever do get mold in my house.

Very pleased. Result was non toxic mold we could address ourselves. They gave us advice to correct the cause and took photos for us to give to carpenter we used to replace the section of the wall with the problem. They said to call back if any problems or concerns. Would definitely use again if any future problems. Thank you.

very quick process much less involved than I imagined. Mold testing done then a few days later, solution applied everywhere downstairs. after process completed, company came back and did another test for mold.

Jon was very quick to respond to my messages and was able to fit me in to his busy schedule to come take a peek and evaluate the issues. Turns out there is no immediate problem and that no remediation was necessary. He recommended some good solutions for humidity for me to research further. Jon was very friendly and you could tell that he's a straight shooter. I would definitely look to hire him should I need his services in the future.

Indoor Environmental was thorough, responsive and on time. Jake Turner handled our situation reviewing the problem, carefully evaluating the steps necessary and how they would test to make sure the mold was successfully removed. We have worked with a lot of contractors for work on our house and no one has been better at delivering what they say they will. Our home has been tested and is now clear. Jake Turner was a pleasure to work with and always on top of things during this process.

Jon was incredible. He inspected the entire house, from attic to basement, for moisture with a special instrument that allowed him to detect what was behind the walls. He found that the basement was just above the maximum acceptable dampness - and that there was mold on the wood paneling, the kind of mold that makes you sick. He explained that the mold in the basement could easily travel to my bedroom located on my second floor. He said that this was a job I could handle myself, and told me exactly what to do. He would not accept a fee for this consultation.
Description of Work: There was an occasional smell of mold in my bedroom. I had no idea what the cause was, but I was pretty sure it was making me sick.

We called for an evaluation of an air conditioner mold problem and received an appointment for the next day. John was excellent in explaining the whole situation and very reassuring. He also responded to two follow-up phone questions. He did not recommend any needed professional services and just instructed us on steps we could take ourselves to clean up any mold contamination. He was very helpful, friendly and professional. We felt we could trust him and would not hesitate to contact him again.

I can't say enough positive things about Jon and his team. They were incredibly professional and all-around great people. After meeting with Jon and his employees, I felt comfortable enough to leave them alone in my house while I went back to work. When I came home, the house was still clean & it was as if no one was even there. The work performed in the attic was also unbelievable - the mold was removed completely & the ceiling boards looked brand new. Jon and his crew worked efficiently and quickly to get rid of the mold in our attic, identifying the problem and the source of moisture. Our attic is mold-free now and you'd never know we had it to begin with. They also performed follow-up checks to make sure there were no living mold spores after the work was done. We are very happy with the quality of work done and the level of professionalism by the entire team and should we ever need work of this nature done again we'll definitely hire them.

In the end no mold or mildew was found and we were assured that no remediation would be necessary. Overall it was a very positive experience and I would definitely recommend Indoor Environmental to anyone looking for this kind of service.
Description of Work: Had testing done where we had previously had some moisture problems. Jason did a very thorough inspection of all the places we thought there might be mold (including air samples in the room we were most concerned about).

Jason Bowers came to investigate the moldy/musty smell. He ruled out a mold problem and gave me advice on dealing with the smell. Since he could not find a problem, he did not charge me at all for the visit! He was very helpful and explained everything thoroughly.

I was very happy that I did not have mold.
Description of Work: I called Indoor Environmental and Jason got back to me promptly. We set up a time for him to inspect what I thought was mold. He showed up on time, which was impressive given that he drove a good distance at rush hour traffic to be on time. After the inspection, he told me it wasn't mold. I was immediately relieved, but felt somewhat bad because he drove so far. Jason was really friendly, professional and even made suggestions for our attic crawl space air flow. In my experience, it sometimes is extremely difficult to get people to call back and show up. I was very impressed with this company.

Jason was fantastic about getting in to do an inspection with really short notice, and performed a thorough inspection with a detailed explanation of his findings while also teaching us what to watch for to avoid any future mold problems. Indoor Environmental is extremely professional and great to work with and are incredibly knowledgeable.
