The job took three days. Realy fast.

I have been completely satisfied with providers I've used thru Angie's List but this guy was not forthcoming. I needed a roofer due to a damaged kitchen ceiling and an approaching storm on the horizon. Unfortunately, I chose Otto over another provider. Originally, he gave me an estimate of $5,000. Ten minutes after he left, he called me to say he didn't measure the roof accurately & asked for $2,000 more. Due to the emergency situation, I agreed. Once, he had the product he told me the roof would last for twenty years. After he completed the job with the exception of finishing a strip over the inside porch, he said oh, the roof probably won't last twenty years! One of his workers left 2 strips of attached staples on top of the roof. He never came back to complete the job. I called several times within the next two years. At least 6 times he promised to come & finally, the last time I spoke with him was spring of 2017. His final response was "I decided I'm not coming out to finish the job". I would never recommend him to anyone. His attitude was lousy & he was anything but forthcoming..

Ranch style house needed main beam and lolly columns replaced. Hardwood floors removed and replaced throughout house Gutted and redid three bedrooms and three bathrooms Did not give an estimate. Would only quote time and materials Work is well done. Kevin does not always listen to what he is being asked to complete. Had to remind him of scope at times

provider was quick to respond and complete the job including painting after. offered to paint entire room (it was needed due to the nature of repairs) but felt his fees were too high to paint alone. Had my regular painter do the work for much less than quoted. would definitely use kevin again for sheetrock work.

We used Kevin and his team for a complete remodel of our tiny beach cottage. The job was complicated by the fact that we were doing a long distance remodel from overseas on a tight budget and the cottage had years of bad DIY. As soon as we started the work we uncovered issue after issue, all of which Kevin took in his stride without fuss and did not use it as leverage to overcharge as some contractors might. Kevin was particularly ingenious at coming up with solutions for remodelling on a tiny scale to a high standard. Kevin and his team did everything except plumbing and electrics but actually coordinated all the other trades to make sure that they were there when he needed them to keep the build moving on schedule. Kevin offers years of experience and practical down to earth solutions in a straight talking honest old school style. Kevin was beyond GREAT and I would highly recommend him without hesitation for any job.

Called him, left a message. He called me the same day.we set up a time for him to come over to give an estimate for the work. He showed up the time agreed upon, gave the estimate which we were good with. We agreed upon a day and time to start the work. Kevin Ott himself came to do the work with one of his workers. Was done when they said. They were very nice and professional. Would use again. Thank You, Kevin!

Kevin is definitely our "go to" guy for all types of home renovation. Professional and reliable. He has extensive experience and provides much appreciated guidance on projects. The finished bathrooms look terrific.

After being told emphatically by Mr. Ott that our oak floors did not need complete sanding and refinishing, we opted for the easier treatment, buffing and resealing. The new urethane did not match our old urethane finish and after the finish dried there were many areas where the old urethane was not covered and had a totally different sheen. These uncovered areas looked like wet spots or water spills Mrl Ott returned and quickly painted over some of the shiny spots and we paid him the remaining balance for the work. The fix turned out to be worse than the problem ! Wherever he painted , the urethane was even worse and looks totally different than the first urethane he used. Also, the brush must have been dirty because the repainted areas are very rough , We called to see what could be done. Although Mr. Ott said he would come by the following week, we have not seen nor heard from him. Also, the deep scratches in the floor still show, and although the new finish is better than the scratched finish , we should have stuck to our guns and had the floors completely refinished as we had planned. We definitely would not use this company again for any work.

It was good. He came and did his job. It was only one guy and he was nice. He used my own tile and everything so he just regrouted. The quality is good.

Kevin Otts is my go-to-guy for everything. He approaches all of my projects as if he were the owner and the money would come from his own pocket. I own a rental property. His recommendations always have quality and cost in mind. His work is superb - always done with great pride and professionalism. To give you an example: I am in Florida for the winter. I had a tenant that I inherited with the property when I bought it a year ago leave. I knew the apartment would need some work. I did not have to fly up to Wareham. I just called Kevin. While he was there painting and fixing closet doors, he noticed that the kitchen was incredibly dirty. He had a person come clean it for me. I know I can trust him to make me look good, but not take advantage of me financially. Kevin also roofed the front porch for me and replaced the back porch. And he is a nice guy, great personality, with a sense of humor.

They did a good job and this took about 2 days.

Their prices were too high so we didn't use them.

Kevin answered when I called and we made an appt for the next day to look at the job. Kevin was running late for the appt and called to let me know (he was tied up with the previous customer). I showed him what needed to be done and he gave me a price. I agreed to his price and gave him my deadline (about 5-6 weeks out). The job was done in two phases (1) the cleaning and scrubbing first and then (2) applying the sealer (Australian Timber Oil). We were called one morning when he wanted to do the first step. we were not going to be home but he was able to do everything he needed. In the meantime I purchases the ATO. A couple weeks later he called to ask me to put the ATO in the shed and he would come by at some point. About a week later he called to say he was on the way. He showed up that day and finished the job. The deck and table look excellent. We are extremely happy with the quality of the job and very happy it was done before our deadline.

A few months ago we pulled up the carpet in my son's room planning to put some kind of flooring down. We contacted Kevin thinking we needed to put a subfloor in and he came by almost immediately inspected the situation and told us we didn't need more than what we already had and if we wanted flooring he suggested a good product. He gave us an estimate and went on his way. My husband and I went out and reseached what we wanted, purchased what we needed and called Kevin back to make an appointment. When we connected and made an appointment it was so great to hear he was free for the job right away because we didn't want to wait long at that point. This was kind of a dream we've had for a couple of years and just being novices in home improvement work it was really satisfying to be at this stage. :) Kevin and his assistant arrived at the agreed upon time checked out the job and got right to work. They communicated with my husband very well as far as keeping him informed. They were very professional, respectful and kind. I really have nothing but good things to say about this company, they are excellent and we are saving up to schedule Kevin to do a second bedroom soon. Everything went very well. Guys came in tore out old carpeting (not expecting to). Cleaned area and had the new floors in a day and a half. Floors look great and have stood up to a very busy Band B season. The only problem with these guys is you can't get them back.

High winds from Superstorm Sandy tore about 20 strips of shingles from our roof. The night of the storm, water leaked into the house in several spots. Early the next morning, Kevin answered my call while he was on the road and said he would be at our house that afternoon. He and a helper replaced the shingles within a hour and a half. I would recommend him without reservations!

He gave us an estimate on the phone, and he was lower than a few other carpenters we called. We decided on a date and he showed up. Our house was under contract to be sold. He made it very easy. Thanks

Kevin was there on time, and went above and beyond to repair my ceiling, and the roof damage which caused the damage. Great job!

I'm an avid do-it-yourselfer normally reluctant to have home improvement jobs done for me. An accident caused me to re-think the drywall job I had planned to do myself, so I called Otts Restoration for an estimate. I'm very glad I found these guys. Kevin and Adam came right away, gave me a good price, and started in immediately. The job was done quickly and perfectly. They are efficient professionals that I would highly recommend for a multitude of home improvement projects. I was impressed enough to hire them for a complete renovation of a master bathroom, which is now in progress.

I am a widow and was very anxious about selecting a contractor. I had had a bad experience with a contractor in the past when I needed to update my house so my husband could come home in a wheel chair after a stroke. Kevin and his assistant Adam are EXCEPTIONAL. Of the people who submitted estimates, Kevin stood out as offering helpful suggestions. He responded to my inital call within a few hours and actually apologized for not responding sooner! He came within a day or two to do the estimate. I decided it was a good opportunity to update lighting, add the beadboard and chair rail I had always wanted and to get rid of all the horrible popcorn ceilings on the first floor of the house. I was hosting 14 people for Thanksgiving which was only a few weeks away. Kevin said he could get it done by Thanksgiving and he did-with time to spare so we could unpack boxes, do some additional painting we wanted to do, etc. The process of removing the popcorn is very messy. Kevin and Adam did an excellent job leaving the house as clean as possible at the end of each day. They arrived each day as scheduled and let me know well in advance about two days they could not be at my house. As others have noted, you can trust Kevin and Adam to work in your house on their own. I was at work most of the time they worked on my house and would come home amazed at what they had accomplished each day. Kevin is a real craftsman who takes pride in his work. The beadboard and chair railing is exceptional in its detail -where the moldings connect with the doors and windows, etc. I wanted to save some money by painting the beadboard and Kevin gave us detailed instructions on how we should proceed and recommended a great product for nail holes, etc. We were able to do a professional painting job as a result of his help. He made other suggestions to help me save money which I could then use for other projects! The textured ceilings are a huge improvment over the popcorn ceiling. You can't tell that Kevin had to replace part of the ceiling first. The painting of the wall and the ceiling was great too. The best evidence of excellent customer service is the way that people respond to mistakes or problems. There was one board that I thought was defective in the hardwood floor and didn't notice until after all of the other work had been completed. When I mentionned it to Kevin, he graciously returned and immediately removed and replaced it with no additional charge. No one would be able to identify the repair. This was a very small issue but demonstrates the integrity with which Kevin approaches his work. I am not related and had never met Kevin or Adam before the estimate. I am looking forward to having Kevin and Adam come back after the holidays to gut and replace my upstairs bathroom, and to do some other work. I am delighted to have found a trustworthy craftsman like Kevin and will use him for any and all work on my house. The electrician that he uses was also wonderful, came as scheduled and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend Kevin Ott to you and I have never been able to do that , unconditionally, with anyone else who has done work on my house.

Kevin was recommended to me by a family member who was very pleased with his work. Overall, Kevin did an exceptional job on my house. His craftmanship is excellent. He is artistically inclined and has a great sense for colors and what will really look great. Kevin is a very hard worker and reliable. He is as honest as they come. About 2 weeks after he started working for me, he found a gold chain necklace in a storage closet, apparently left by a prior occupant, and gave it to me. I was very comfortable giving Kevin keys to my home and going away. Kevin is an excellent problem solver and comes up with creative solutions to problems that work. If I would ask Kevin for ideas on how to proceed with a project, he would gladly walk me through my options. Kevin was also very helpful in recommending other contractors. I can't say enough good things about Kevin's work. I was burned in the past with shoddy workmanship and/or overcharging by other contractors. So, I am very pleased with finally finding the and quot;rightand quot; one for me.

We were going to make a date but I ended selling the property before we went any further. He was polite and professional with the interaction I had with him over the phone. I would definitely use this company for work if I ever buy more property in the area.

Kevin understood that time was of the essence to get the roof repaired before the rain and snow season and to discourage the animals. He was prompt to stop by and review the project with me and delivered on his promise to get the repairs done quickly. He is a total professional who takes great pride in his work.

Work went very well. We will continue to call Kevin whenever we need work done.
