 + -1 moreWhen Larry first came to give us a bid on the work to be done, my husband and I were very impressed with his knowledge of what work needed to be done. We were confident that what Larry promised would be done correctly. We were very satisfied with the professionalism and work completed by Josh, Will, and Angel. The care they took in completing their work was super. Josh was very helpful with the selection of colors for the rooms. They showed up on time daily and always kept us informed as to the progress and plans for the following day. When the work was completed all areas were cleaned nicely.
Description of Work: Ceilings were painted in the living room, upper hallway, lower hallway, kitchen, and dining room. A sealer was applied first and then 2 coats of paint. In those same areas walls were prepped and 2 coats of paint were applied.

Description of Work: I all fairness, this is a family run business and the father did say they were very busy. However, he took a few days to respond to my voice message; then, said he would call back with a time to visit our property (Literally 3 blocks away). Then, after I called again, he said he was going to bring along another "guy" to see what he could do. Have no idea what that meant. Anyway, he never called back. So, I even though I told him I was not in a rush to get the painting done immediately, he just didn't seem interested especially after I told him I already had 2 quotes and was looking for him to quote as well. This is a $3,000/$4,000 job, obviously not taking the first quote. I would pay more if the quality was there. I'm a value buyer, not looking just at the lowest price. |All-in-all, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and grade him a C. I love family owned local businesses.

 + -1 moreThey did great! They were here two weeks ago. It cost about three hundred bucks. They power washed my house. They did what they said they were going to do. They were personable and all that good stuff. I would use the again in the future.

 + 0 moreExcellent! They began the job when they stated they would and continued until it was complete and we were satisfied. I have used Aardvark Painting for over 30 years to paint the outside and inside of my house. They are very professional and do a top quality job. Their work lasts for years as they do the proper preparation before even putting the first stroke of paint on any surface. I have recommended them to two friends who both used Aardvark's services and were very happy with the work also. I had some minor ceramic tile work needed in a bathroom I was having painted and also some repair work to the drywall. Aardvark handled both "non-painting" jobs with the same expertise and professionalism and excellent results as is the case on their painting.
Description of Work: Aardvark Painting pressure washed our house, scraped and sanded as needed, removed windows and replaced rotted sills as necessary and applied two coats of paint. We had a new porch added and they stained/painted the interior walls, doors and ceiling as we requested.

 + 0 moreLarry and his team are professionals that really know what they are doing and their work shows it. My house looks brand new and I couldn't have asked for any further improvements once they were finished. They did everything that I asked them to do and more. They are fast, prompt and aim to please the customer. Bottom line is Larry really enjoys what he is doing and is a perfectionist. I already have him lined up for another job for a family member. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants painting done right and perfect. Larry and his team were done in about two weeks but could have been done sooner but as the job got going I had him do some extra's that added more time. Larry and his team left my place as clean as it was when they started.
Description of Work: Repair and paint walls and ceilings in entire 4 bedroom colonial house. Remove wall paper in kitchen and paint walls and ceiling. Remove paneling in living room and paint walls and ceilings. Paint all closets. Finish off living room with baseboards and fireplace mantel.
