Arranged for job in Spring of 2015. Sent a 1/3 deposit with the promise that it would be better to do in early fall. We agreed, but did not hear back at the end of the summer/beginning of fall. We finally called them at the end of September. This was a Monday or Tuesday and they said they would come outnThursday. Unless there was rain. it rained Wednesday and then we called again the next Wednesday and they said they would show up on Friday....which they finally did. While I was at work, laborers were on the job Friday and pulled about 2/3 of the bricks off and set that part up for relaying ( On Friday before Columbus Day). On Saturday morning I went out and spoke with the Laborers....concerned that the whole walkway was not being pulled and reset. The two laborers were very polite and stated that was the direction from their boss.They volunteered to call the boss who agreed to show up on site.the workers stopped work and waited. The boss showed and showed me our contract. I agreed with him that the contract we agreed to in the Spring stated that the whole walkway would be pulled and r laid. He did not disagree with that but told me that he had figurednitnoutnthat the whole thing did not need to be redone and so he had told workers to just do a partial pulling of brick
